[CW: Blood drinking/transfusions discussed, Corruption symptoms.]
Greetings. I am Doctor Adrian Winters of the Lumenarium, otherwise known to some of you as Doctor Albert Wesker.
[His voice sounds a bit gruff and he clears his throat a few times as he continues. Also, he sounds as though an extra pair of canine teeth which he endeavors to talk around, giving him a slight lisp.]
This month, I'm running a survey for those of you who often take your Blood donations orally, that is, those of you who more or less frequently drink it rather than take it via transfusion. Ahem. Rest assured, these answers will be recorded confidentially. [A light clearing of his throat, then he resumes.]
How many of you notice that different Blood types have different tastes or flavors? In your own words, would you be willing to describe them in your own words?
Don't be shy about your answers. There are no right or wrong ways to describe your experiences. Everyone's experience will have its differences and variables.
[Another throat clearing.]
I appreciate your time. I'll respond as promptly as I can. Blood Ministry keeps me busy, as does the strange things about this town. I've had my hands full collecting the very unseasonable fruit that decided to sprout out of the walls of my house and the courtyard behind it, and I'm sure many of you have had some interesting early harvests.

Hello, Dr. Wesker. It's Rose, if you remember me.
( His message is... alarming in ways, but by now she's heard a variety pack of alarming things in this place. )
I don't take blood donations, but I've noticed a difference in the way certain blood smells, and I've be willing to guess they taste a lot like that. Like my own, Warmblood.... it smells a lot like.. hmm. Asphalt? Or rather... like tar.
Re: audio | un: Da Silva
Ahh, yes! I recall you well. The woman who helped free me from that tight place in the Sleeper Farm. You're a hard woman to forget, Rose.
[He clears his throat, then continues. The sound of someone typing off link makes itself heard.]
Mmm, I've noticed that aroma. It's peculiar, but I've grown accustomed to it. Oddly enough, I've found that Warmblood has a very nourishing quality, like a hearty breakfast.
[The typing sounds stop for the moment.]
Dare I ask how you have been since we first crossed paths? I hope you've managed to stay out of the reach of any dangers these past months.

Really? I guess it's weirdly flattering to hear that my blood would taste that good.
( Rose offers a soft laugh. She does have to wonder just what it means that he requires blood to drink, but of course she's well aware that the man is no ordinary man. She'd seen it for herself in his eyes, and then what he'd divulged to her shortly after. )
I've been all right, though. I... I found my daughter, Sharon. She arrived here, washed up like all the rest of us did. She's staying with me now.
( It still feels almost surreal to say aloud, and a touch of emotion nudges into her voice as she relays it. )
((I apologize for the slow reply; life exploded))
[A chuckle of his own, closed-mouthed and in his throat, somehow unsettling and yet gentle as well.]
I hope it doesn't sound too strange, though I suppose obligate blood-consumption via transfusion or drinking it, is inherently strange in and of itself.
I spoke with your daughter over the network when she was asking some questions of the more experienced Sleepers. She sounds like a smart, strong young lady, who asks intelligent questions. Dare I say, I'm relieved to hear you're reunited.
No worries at all!!
( She's not sure much would frighten this man, but she can't help worrying for any child-versions of selves. She'd bumped into Maul when he was like that, too, and took him into her house to feed and care for him. Rose will forever be a mother. )
Are you usually able to get enough blood, here? It seems like it'd be kind of hard to manage such a thing...
( But she blinks, surprised to hear that he'd encountered Sharon. ) Ohβ you spoke to her. She does seem so intelligent, so brave doesn't she? She's got such a good head on her shoulders. ( There's a clear hint of pride, but also awe, as Rose speaks of her daughter. She's still learning who she is as a young woman and not a little girl, and she's consistently surprised and delighted by how capable Sharon has become. )
...She's older, now. Older than she was when I saw her last, back home. She was just a little girl there.
Re: No worries at all!!
I manage to get the Blood that I require, usually from the Blood Bank or at the Lumenarium, where I serve as a Blood Minister, though there are one or two folk I've called upon as donors, usually Night Walkers. Don't worry: there's no neck biting involved. There's too many 'fiddly bits' in a person's neck to risk that method.
Ahh. I take it she arrived from a later point in time relative to yours? It happens a lot here, since this place exists in a time and dimension all their own.

I'm sorry to hear about your Corruption. If you desire treatment, I work at the Lumenarium on alternating days. I'll be there tomorrow if you want me to have examine you. [Never mind it would be a case of Blood Minister treat yourself...]
Hm. That sounds about right. Darkblood always seems to have a fruitlike taste about. I can see why some Sleepers find it addicting.
Rest assured, I'm careful about imbibing it for that reason.

[ Getting addicted to blood sounds like something he would definitely like to not be. ] Why do some people drink it?
((March came in like a lion and ate me.))
[More typing sounds.] Some of us rely on Blood in order to sustain our beings and abilities. Others take it in to heal ourselves. Drinking it is easier than transfusing it, and so some people take it as a shortcut.
u gucci bruh
Mm. That makes sense. Thank you.
Re: u gucci bruh
Anything to be of assistance.
