How many of you found a new found respect for squids after you got here or after you walked back into the ocean to get away for a while.
I didn't think of them much before but now I'm like well, they're not that bad. Might think twice before having Calimari.

Plenty. I used to run a survival class, but I'm not so sure I'll do that now.
I can introduce you to Dean, he might be able to find you some steady work and if he can't I know a couple of other people that can get you in like Flynn.

That would be good. I kind of need a source of income other than what I can find at the beach. Which is the weirdest source of income I can think of.

Right. Though, I think it's always going to seem weird, being here without mom or Cassie. But Cassie would never get used to this place and mom would be pissed that there wasn't a good source of wine for her to crawl into.
I think it's just trade stuff for bartering? Which is fine, it's kind of a relief to not have to worry about actual cash money.

Look at it this way, at least you don't have to worry about identity theft or your credit score.
Sometimes it's better not to have family here. I think I'd lose my mind if Jody or Alex showed up.
I have Dean, he's kind of like family but these days all my family is chosen family so it's really just a game of pulling straws.

I love Cassie, my older sister, and I love our mom. But almost all of my friends are Cassie's friends. So I kind of try to coexist with them. I wouldn't call them family, though.

Mostly books, Mom is a tyrant with the remote. Don't try to come between her and her million dollar mansions or messy housewives on Bravo.
