[The video switches on, and the woman in view may well be unique, what with the vibrant purple face painting - or...or is it tattoos? There are feathers in her air and while her eyes are clear, anybody with instincts will have a bit of a moment with them - and that eager, lopsided smile.]

Well, well, well. Talking through a rock, whatever will they think of next.

[She's been working to gain knowledge of this place, but it's time to dangle things in the water and see what happens next.]

So, gentle souls and not, tell me of this place. For I am newly arrived. Another in the litany of lost souls, it seems.

[By her standards, this is practically pleasant.]

The Pthumerians are a common sight around here, particularly the patrons. Their appearances tend to be rather unique so it's difficult to mistake most of them for a civilian.

I have, yes. Here, and in the dream a lot of us came from.

The dream before. Tell me of it.

Well... it was a dream world based in a small town, called Deerington. The whole thing was constructed by a little girl named Julia. She was born with incredible power that no one taught her to control.

So. She was locked up. Used as an experiment, and spawned the dream, accidentally drawing us in with her.

[Shiro may be biased in favor of Julia Sodder, whoops.]

Such a thing, spawned by the anguish of a child. Fascinating.

[And entirely understandable to her - that's how the dark side works, really. Powerful emotions set loose that can reshape galaxies, in time and at their fullest experiment.]

What happened next?

I wouldn't say "fascinating"... More like horrifying.

We don't know how long she was held captive. But the Pthumerian known as Mother Superior liked to torture her. And us. A lot of us tried to get to Julia, or to put a stop to Superior.

But... Pthumerians. There's not much we can do against them.

Do forgive a newcomer - these are all unknown things.

[But the rest is illuminating. And not do much against them? Well, not yet. But there's ways to deal with everything, given time. And cleverness. Lever, right point, all of that. Or, better yet, they can be manipulated...]

So some have tried resisting before?

I don't think it's "resisting" so much. There wasn't anything that could be done except throw Superior's words back in her face...

But here? For the most part, the Pthumerians don't seem to have much to do with us. The only one we see regularly is the Moon Presence. And she's always been on our side.

[So only one she might actively have to deal with? That helps, significantly.]

Interesting. Tell me more of this...Moon Presence.

She's benevolent. The most out of all of them. [He's sure of that, at least.]

I don't know a lot about what she's become, but she did what she could to help us, back in the dream world. She was trapped there, too, and what we did helped release her.

And now? Does she influence events?

So far? No. She's just here, keeping to herself.

The other Patrons seem to be the ones making the changes during the months.

[And when she sees that username, there is a moment of outright panic. If Luke Skywalker is here, the jig is up from the very beginning, by her reckoning, but - no, it wouldn't be him. Because he would have spoken as if he knew her. Which means the list of possibilities dwindles to one name, at least to someone who has never experienced multiple universes.]

We don't see them much, out on the Rim - but this is also a strange place. But I MEANT - have you and other Jedi come to help us get out of here?

[You know, it's good to know that the major difference between Vader's pronouncements and Anakin Skywalker's attitude was, really, the mask. Aggravating, within moments.]
