Video; UN: Tavion - Introductions Are in Order
[The video switches on, and the woman in view may well be unique, what with the vibrant purple face painting - or...or is it tattoos? There are feathers in her air and while her eyes are clear, anybody with instincts will have a bit of a moment with them - and that eager, lopsided smile.]
Well, well, well. Talking through a rock, whatever will they think of next.
[She's been working to gain knowledge of this place, but it's time to dangle things in the water and see what happens next.]
So, gentle souls and not, tell me of this place. For I am newly arrived. Another in the litany of lost souls, it seems.
[By her standards, this is practically pleasant.]
Tell me - has anyone even seen a Pthumerian?
[OOC: If you'd rather have already met her, or meet in person, she arrived Here]

The Pthumerians are a common sight around here, particularly the patrons. Their appearances tend to be rather unique so it's difficult to mistake most of them for a civilian.

That much I am aware of. How active are they?

[Which he'll also elaborate on, if need be.]

The dream before. Tell me of it.
no subject
So. She was locked up. Used as an experiment, and spawned the dream, accidentally drawing us in with her.
[Shiro may be biased in favor of Julia Sodder, whoops.]
no subject
[And entirely understandable to her - that's how the dark side works, really. Powerful emotions set loose that can reshape galaxies, in time and at their fullest experiment.]
What happened next?
[Oh, do keep talking. It's so very useful to know.]

We don't know how long she was held captive. But the Pthumerian known as Mother Superior liked to torture her. And us. A lot of us tried to get to Julia, or to put a stop to Superior.
But... Pthumerians. There's not much we can do against them.
no subject
[But the rest is illuminating. And not do much against them? Well, not yet. But there's ways to deal with everything, given time. And cleverness. Lever, right point, all of that. Or, better yet, they can be manipulated...]
So some have tried resisting before?
no subject
But here? For the most part, the Pthumerians don't seem to have much to do with us. The only one we see regularly is the Moon Presence. And she's always been on our side.
no subject
Interesting. Tell me more of this...Moon Presence.

I don't know a lot about what she's become, but she did what she could to help us, back in the dream world. She was trapped there, too, and what we did helped release her.

The other Patrons seem to be the ones making the changes during the months.

Thank you for the information. You have been most helpful.

[Not that it's much better. This is a complication, early on.]
I wouldn't know, I'm freshly arrived.
no subject
And you'll probably see one around eventually, even if you don't want to.

General Skywalker.
no subject
The General Skywalker? Hero of the Clone Wars?
no subject
I fought in the war.

I thought as much. Is the Republic here? I mean, the Jedi specifically. Are they here to help?
[There. That ought to play the hapless newcomer well enough, and hopefully get useful information.]
no subject
Do they ever not?

Then what are Jedi doing here? This is all so strange to me.
[Oh come on, Jedi. Demonstrate some of that gullibility that was both strength and weakness.]

[There's nothing really to explain about his motivations.]

no subject
[He's saying this because he doesn't know Luke's motivations and it's embarrassing that Obi-Wan's reasons are because his former padawan is a mess.]
no subject
Who is 'them'? So I will know them when I see them?
