I'm glad you made it here too. I've found Peter, yes. Or rather, Helga found Peter and then they found me. [ Helga is the true hero in all of this. ] I suppose I was a bit of a late arrival. He'd been here for a little while but I was still down on the shore.

Still feel a bit weird, but I'm alright. I think feeling weird is just part of it.

Oh! Well I'm glad everything worked out if that's the case. I ran into him on he beach when he first got here. He was pretty out of it. A little lost- I told him everything would make sense once that special person came around.

Yeah- I want to say that gets a bit more manageable as you go along? I can't say it totally goes away. I feel like I'm learning new weird things about myself everyday so far.

I was wondering about that. It's why I tried not to drop too much on him when we were hanging out. I just wanted him to be safe and sound like any friend would.

[She will always be proud of poking at her friends like this.]

I did- Actually she found me when I first washed up on shore. Seemed like she was waiting for me.

And most of my friends and family showed up. A couple exceptions... But I've got faith they'll show up sooner or later. They just might not be ready yet.

My powers are different. My aura and semblance are less flowery and more like- electrical or firey or icy. I don't have a lot of control over it right now. It's just bizzare.

And kind of awesome but I'm working on it.

Thank you, Ruby. I really appreciate that. I'm hoping maybe he just needs a little more time. He should be fine, but it's best to keep an eye on him.

Oh, that's wonderful! It reminds me of me and Peter a bit. Maybe I was waiting for him to come find me. It's funny how it's like that, sometimes. [ And also really, really nice. ] I don't think it's easy getting here, I don't really remember having.... limbs. Not like you can swim all that well. More like... bob.

And those aren't meant to change, are they? Auras and semblances are meant to stay the same, right? [ This is... worrying. And definitely bizarre. But Ruby doesn't seem too troubled, at least...? ] I don't think I'm any different? My magic's the same. My dreams are a bit off, though. I'm wondering if it's maybe because I'm feeling a little weird at night?

Don't mention it. He's got a lot on his plate, but with someone like you by his side I know he'll be just fine.

I hope neither of you were getting bashed around by waves quite like I was when it happened. It was kind of hilarious- I was lucky she pulled me out of the water.

That whole squid thing was weird wasn't it??? Yeah it's definitely way more of a bob than swim. Maybe a bit of a shake to it?

...They can grow and evolve. Become more powerful than they were before. Kind of like how a person can change- But I've never seen them change quite like this and definitely not so suddenly. It's definitely a weird case.

Ange's magic was the same too. So maybe it's other powers that are affected? I can't say I'm an expert to really know for sure.

Oh, no. I think we were spared from that. I had some lady get me out the water, I believe she was a native here. She was nice, I haven't seen her again though.

I think a 'squiggle' would also work, but the more accurate description is a kind of jet propulsion via undulation.

[ Nerd. ]

That's.. interesting. Who knows. Might be for the best to keep an eye on things, to see just how different we've become here. Ask around, see if anyone else is reporting any differences to themselves.

I don't know, it's like I'm feeling different at night? A bit more energised, but calm I suppose? Focused, maybe. It's weird because I'm usually more of a morning person.

That is like the cutest word to describe something so technical. I think it's my new favorite word.

That's not a bad idea- Once I've got setting myself on fire under control maybe I'll ask around. There's gotta be a better way to keep that under control.

Huh. That's kind of weird in it's own way. Maybe it has something to do with the moons and like Cynthia and the other things going around here. The moons and that seem to be a big deal. Maybe night is the new day around here? Or at least for you.

I've got some earrings you could maybe borrow for a bit? They've got some fire-resistance to them when they're worn. Might do you some good until you manage. [ They're shaped like crescent moons, but they've got some nice little flowers in them. Stylish and practical! ]

Possibly. I think you might have a good point with the moon and Cynthia. Considering she's the Pthumerian Queen's daughter, she probably has a great deal of pull in this world. So maybe that's something that could affect Sleepers, too. Maybe some more than others.
