I'll look into that, that's a good idea. Seems like we can just claim whatever houses we want. We could put wards on them. Monsters are a big problem here if you believe the locals.

So she's fine now? How mostly is mostly? Do you trust her?

Yeah. I've got that impression from them too.
Kind of reminds me of home- Which I mean sucks for anyone not from a monster infested world but it's something I'm familiar with.
We could ask Luna Lovegood or anyone with more magic knowledge if they can help us with that.

I don't know if we'll ever hit friend territory? I mean that would be great but there's just a whole lot of baggage there.

But I trust her not to openly work against me or stab me repeatedly. If that makes sense? We're acquaintances? Professional colleagues?

She's reliable and good in a fight. And sometimes that's all you need?

Yeah... She was in on the attack that happened at my school. Her boss had been pulled in by scarier people. I was fighting the both of them at the time and I managed to remove her from the fight but her boss died afterwards.

She blamed me and it kind of cemented a whole revenge thing.

I get you. Know a couple people like that back home. Wouldn't actually trust Ping not to stab me in the back if it made him a couple thousand yuan, though. That guy's a piece of work. Glad you're not being hunted anymore, at least. That's the last thing you need on top of everything else.

I'll look into it, see if Luna wants to help. She was interested in helping out back in Deerington. You know if she actually washed up with the rest of us?

Made my first March until July a super stressful time.
Sorry that you've had to put up with something like that too.

Sounds like a plan. I'll bug Ange about it then. She's got some magical talent but I've never seen her do anything like wards. If she can't do it I'm sure she'd be interested in learning.

And I have seen Luna around. Caught her in the library the other day. Pretty much right in her element.

People like that are everywhere. Wouldn't surprise me if half the people here had a similar experience, but Ping's not malicious, just stupid.

I was talking to her about her magic and she said it's been even easier since she got here. Maybe it's changed. If not, there has to be some version of wards here with all the monsters running around. You think antlers still work?

Especially with how bizarre our crowd can be sometimes.

Yeah. She was sure it hadn't changed when we first got here. But she keeps showing up with all sorts of new tricks. I just haven't seen her do wards yet. I will investigate!

Deer are apparently still a big deal here like they were in the dream. I don't know for sure if they're magical but I think it's worth a shot to see what they can do.

Do you have any left over? I used most of mine on weapons for other people before we left the dream. If you do we can start experiments right away.

A bunch just turned up in the place Wu found. It has his sauna and that weird antler chandelier he made, so if the worst comes we can just take that apart in the night and never tell him. I'll... get him a better. Less antler-filled one.

AHAHAHAHA- Okay well that's a good start at the very least.
Be sure to keep some keep your place safe too though.
If Deer are still a big deal then it's probably possible for us to get more too.
Once we find out if they work we can get some people together and start gathering them up?
