Hello. Again. [ Oof, okay, not the strongest start. ] I'm Anakin Solo, a knight of the Jedi Order, at your service. I sort of remember being here before, and I wanted to thank everyone who helped me out.

They offered me a bed at the orphanage, but I don't want to take it from someone who might need it.
How does housing work here, exactly? I don't mind sleeping outside, but that doesn't seem wise in the long run.

[ A pause. ]

By the way, I don't remember the sky being like this before-- is this normal? As normal as anything is here, I mean.

[ Another pause. He's clearly not in his element. ]

You have to spend a lot of time with your Master. Through difficult and uncharted territory.

If it is not a strong bond, none of you will survive.

[ Anakin's eyebrows raise slightly. ]

I guess I never thought of it that way before. My uncle is my master, so I never really had to work on that bond.

[ Even with Mara and Master Ikrit, it had come easily to him. ]

[jedies]

Mmm. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not . . . but it's not my place to comment on it.

[ Anakin shakes his head slightly. ]

No, I understand. Being family changes things. It adds some complications. And sometimes I take things for granted without even noticing.

[jedies]

It certainly does that.

[hopesparks]

Maybe that means the lessons I'd learn trying to bond with my master will be taught to me another way.

[ There's no shortage of people he interacts with in the Order. But being the nephew of the Grandmaster does set him apart, no matter how hard people try to treat him like everyone else. ]

[jedies]

. . . Hm. Exactly. It's not impossible.

[hopesparks]

All I can do is keep an open mind for whatever the Force wants to teach me.

[ He gives Obi-Wan a slight smile, before stifling a yawn. The adrenaline and anxiety from earlier are petering off, leaving very little energy left. ]

[jedies]

That's all any of us can do.

Why don't you go rest for now?

[hopesparks]

[ Anakin nods and stands. ]
