Hello. Again. [ Oof, okay, not the strongest start. ] I'm Anakin Solo, a knight of the Jedi Order, at your service. I sort of remember being here before, and I wanted to thank everyone who helped me out.

They offered me a bed at the orphanage, but I don't want to take it from someone who might need it.
How does housing work here, exactly? I don't mind sleeping outside, but that doesn't seem wise in the long run.

[ A pause. ]

By the way, I don't remember the sky being like this before-- is this normal? As normal as anything is here, I mean.

[ Another pause. He's clearly not in his element. ]

[Okay, Shiro is still oblivious to his username change. But that's not important. Because this kid just said some magic words. Namely, "Solo" and "Jedi" and be still his deep dark nerd heart.]

Don't worry about beds at Koz's. [The Orphanage.] There's always space. Especially if you help out around the place.

Houses... we usually just end up picking an empty one. Or rooming with people we know, if we have anyone here.

I guess that's good. [ At least there's enough space for everyone. ]

Do you pay someone? I don't have anything valuable to trade, so all I can offer is my services.

I'm one of the weird cases. My teammates and I washed up here with our house.

But according to friends, no, you don't have to pay for housing. Things here work on exactly what you said - trade.

Wait, you arrived with an entire house? How did you get it off the beach?

Ah - sorry, no. I meant it turned up here with us. It was in the residential district.

That answers why it's no longer on the beach. But how does an entire house just... appear out of nowhere?

[ Then again, his bag has a holo of his family that he hadn't even been carrying with him before he came here. ]

I have no idea. Honestly, I'm not sure any of us have really figured it out. But, really, I'm just glad it's here.

My home is whatever spacecraft I'm on at the time, so I think I'm out of luck.

[ He hasn't seen or heard a single ship since he got here. No spaceport either. He supposes this planet is far off the grid. ]

There were a few things in my bag that I wasn't expecting, though. A holo of my family, for one.

That... sounds like a dream to me, but it's probably a lot harsher in reality, huh? But, yeah. You're right. Closest to spacecraft here are my team's robots, and my hoverbike.

[Sorry buddy. He's suffering too.]

Oh yeah? Is... that a good thing, or?

It has its perks and drawbacks, just like living anywhere else. I have my family and that's what matters. Everywhere else is just a place.

[ Though being stuck in one spot is going to take a lot of getting used to. ]

It is. It's just a weird thing-- it was all the way on the other side of the galaxy when I left. I wonder how it ended up washing up on shore with me.

You know, that's a great sentiment to have. I can understand that, completely.

[If the people you care about are with you, you'll be fine anywhere.]

A lot of things about this place are like that. They don't quite make sense - and we don't know how to explain them.

You just kind of roll with it, after a while.

[ Unfortunately, he doesn't have that here. The closest thing to actual family he has is his uncle, who is several decades too young.

He tries not to think about it too much. He tries to be grateful for whatever he does have. ]

I guess that's all you can do, to save your sanity. [ Wryly: ] Any other sanity-saving tips? I get the feeling I'll need them.

Find something that grounds you. Or something to focus on.

I volunteer at the orphanage a lot, for example. Check in on people I know... do a workout routine.

[ It sounds like settling into a prison. It's good advice, but it really hits home that he's not going back any time soon, if ever.

Chin up, Solo. Keep going. ]

What sort of help does the orphanage need?

[ He can, at least, start doing good. Keep himself tied to his roots as a Jedi and as a son of Han and Leia. ]

Any kind they can get. Looking after the kids, cleaning, laundry... cooking.

I'm no help in that last one, so I'm always on the look out for anyone who might be.

[He is a Disaster, to be more accurate.]

I could probably follow a recipe, but no promises that the food would be more than average.

[ He tried experimenting making rations taste more interesting. His attempts weren't always successful. ]

That's more than good enough.

I mean it. No one needs anything fancy, just decent food. Which... I can't do, for some reason.
