Not that that’s surprising, given who he is as a person. And besides, he has excellent reason to be smug at the moment.]

Tell me friends, are you the gambling types? Ever make any interesting bets or wagers that you won? Or, maybe more interestingly, lost? I’d love to hear your stories.

[Kaeya’s one visible eye is near sparkling.] You see, I’ve recently entered into such a bet. And I won, of course. Isn’t that right, Diluc?

[The view pans to the narrow shouldered Diluc Ragvindr with his arms crossed over his chest. A white cloak with a soft fluffy ruff. An open shirt that shows off his well-muscled chest that’s marred by scars. In short, he’s wearing Kaeya’s clothes. He sighs and pushes away from the wall, walking towards the Omni.]

Yes, and now you get to have your fun until two weeks are up.

[Despite his words he doesn’t seem all that bothered by Kaeya gloating. He seems quite calm and aloof as ever..]

As I told you, you wear this better. [Then he focuses on the view.] My questions are different from his. What interesting things have you discovered here?

[Kaeya laughs and lifts one shoulder in a shrug.] I don’t know, I think you pull it off quite well. I’m sure everyone would agree. [Right? Right everyone?]

[Why is Klee doing a video when she's in her room? Don't know, but even though solitary confinement isn't something she gets here. Better to be safe than sorry! She's also completely sincere. ]

Klee thinks you look really good, Mister Diluc! Dodoco thinks so too. She says you look....charming!

[Kaeya gives Klee a wide, bright grin.]

See, that's what I said. Dodoco clearly has excellent fashion taste.

Uhuh. I think Mister Diluc would only look bad if he wearing Sucrose's clothes or Master Jean's. But he looks really nice in your clothes Kaeya.

Thank you! Klee doesn't know a lot about clothes though. Oh the questions. Um, Klee isn't allowed to bet stuff anymore that a rule remember. That's a grown up thing. I dunno why it's in the survival guide.

[Keith also looked mildly amused when he responded.]

I'm sure there are worse things you could have made him do.

Right? If nothing else, this is a demonstration of how kind and merciful I am.

[He's so pleased with himself, Keith. It's a problem.] Besides, it'll do him some good. How exhausting must it be to be a proper gentleman at all times, even in your fashion choices?

...now that would be a bet.

[And Kaeya has just been given an idea. He looks back over his shoulder at Diluc off camera with a wicked grin. Hear that, Diluc? You'd better win next time.

But he looks back to Klee, considering.]

Oh, that is a good point. I think we could bend that rule a little, for some small bets. For example, I'd bet you that I could draw better portrait of Jean than you could. We can let Diluc judge, and the winner gets to pick what we have for dinner for a whole week.

[Poor Klee doesn't know exactly what she has done by innocently giving Kaeya ideas. She perks up at that. Bending the rules is something that she does even though it's never actually worked for her most times. ]

Does that mean Klee can bet for meals with less veggies and more fish or staying up an hour late? Nothing big or stuff that would get Klee in time out right?

[That earns a small smile from Diluc. He nods once,] Thank you. I’m glad to have an outside opinion.

There are. I told him it had to be something mild or I wouldn’t agree.

[This is sort of minor. Sort of.]

Oh um, the question. I learned lots of interesting stuff here. Lots of different worlds have magic that's super than home. Um, there are places where magic is bad. Oh Klee learned that you can get fish with a rod and net. It's not as fun as bombs but I still got fish. Klee wants to learn more stuff.

Diluc has already blinded me recently. I only had the one eye and then he came to training with that get up, and now my sight is ruined.

[he's exaggerating, but still.]

[ Wu leans on one hand with a smile on his face. He enjoys this. He enjoys this a lot ]

You have good taste, ah... I'm guessing Kaeya? [ Diluc did mention he bonded, too, it's an easy dot to connect ]

I can't say I've ever bet on too much. Mako always made me stop before I bet, as he says, more money than any one person should have.

Gambling's one of my home nation's beloved pastimes, and frankly, I hate it. I probably never won even once.

[Alvin looks over the apparent loser through the screen and shakes his head, smiling slightly.]

You look like you got off pretty lightly in comparison. Can't have been that serious a wager, huh? What'd you two bet on?

Master Diluc, are you not cold wearing such clothes in this climate? Shouldn't you be more comfortable closing a few buttons?

It requires concentration and focus, but you have both of those.

Bets for money aren’t always as fun, anyway. If he had lost, I had plans. Not that I’m actually complaining about this one.

[ Ange is still mentally exhausted enough to opt for an audio-only message rather than vidoe being included, but as she sighs, she does sound pretty close to her usual deadpan-toned self as she says: ]

Do we really need public attempts at humilation? Or.. you know, bets with pranks as punishment.

It wasn’t a serious wager. I was going to have him learn a few recipes if he lost.

[He may or may not be a little pink in the face at the mention of the bet. He sighs,] I can’t say I’m a fan of gambling either. That’s him. But I’m competitive. So here we are.

It’s not too terrible. Being A Pyro user has its benefits. This is his standard attire. It wouldn’t be fair to go for his bartending uniform.

[There’s a pause as Diluc recalls where he heard that voice before. Dellingr appears on his shoulder and the dragon leans towards the screen.]

Less humiliation than one might think. He mainly is looking to lure out people to chat and ask questions. [He glances at Kaeya before he adds,]

I haven’t found anything new out just yet. We had some difficulties recently. However, in light of it. I have learned how to channel Dellingr into my weapons and myself. I believe such a thing can be used to withstand and resist various effects. Whether this works on the influences on us…I can’t say.

I will be sure to call ahead next time to warn you.

[ a finger is curled at the bottom of his chin, a smile growing on his face. ]

Well! I have discovered that making a bet with Master Kaeya seems like it'd be a costly mistake if I happen to lose. Or am I wrong?

[She doesn't, but Kaeya does. And it's amazing.

But more importantly, he's trying to hide a smile at that reaction. Cute. Klee is adorable.]

That's exactly what it means. Those sound like reasonable prizes for this sort of bet, right?

[Kaeya can't contain a laugh.]

Now now, I don't know if I should be more offended about what that means for my taste in fashion or my taste in lovers.
