[Kaeya appears on video looking entirely smug and pleased with himself. This is not unusual for Kaeya, but today this is due to his being very pleased that he's figured out the technology enough to make this post unviewable by Diluc. Secret and surprise. He's a technological genius.

Of course, in his triumph over his Omni, he's completely let it slip his mind that since he's been romantically bonded with Diluc since February that Diluc can hear his every thought. No one tell him. Someone please tell him]

Hello friends. I have a rather important announcement.

Many of you know Master Diluc Ragnvindr, I believe. It's likely no surprise that he's not one to talk much about these sorts of things, but you see, it's his birthday very soon -- the thirtieth of this month.

[And even if Diluc won't bring it up. Kaeya clearly will. So he continues, cheerful and chipper.]

So if you happen to be free, please stop by Roost that day. There will be cake and refreshments for old friends and new alike to celebrate another year for our dear Diluc.

Ah, and of course. It's a surprise, so discretion is appreciated.

[It'll dawn on him eventually that it's not even remotely a surprise. It's fine.]

[The video opens on the smiling, eye-patch-wearing face of Kaeya Alberich. He looks cheerful enough, but more than that, there is something decidedly smug about his expression too. Not that that’s surprising, given who he is as a person. And besides, he has excellent reason to be smug at the moment.]

Tell me friends, are you the gambling types? Ever make any interesting bets or wagers that you won? Or, maybe more interestingly, lost? I’d love to hear your stories.

[Kaeya’s one visible eye is near sparkling.] You see, I’ve recently entered into such a bet. And I won, of course. Isn’t that right, Diluc?

[The view pans to the narrow shouldered Diluc Ragvindr with his arms crossed over his chest. A white cloak with a soft fluffy ruff. An open shirt that shows off his well-muscled chest that’s marred by scars. In short, he’s wearing Kaeya’s clothes. He sighs and pushes away from the wall, walking towards the Omni.]

Yes, and now you get to have your fun until two weeks are up.

[Despite his words he doesn’t seem all that bothered by Kaeya gloating. He seems quite calm and aloof as ever..]

As I told you, you wear this better. [Then he focuses on the view.] My questions are different from his. What interesting things have you discovered here?

[Kaeya laughs and lifts one shoulder in a shrug.] I don’t know, I think you pull it off quite well. I’m sure everyone would agree. [Right? Right everyone?]

[Klee appears on the screen with a serious look on her face. Well, as serious as a little girl can be. Her surroundings shows she's probably climbed a tree to make this message. You can see the tip of a fluffy ear to indicate her Omen is nearby to keep watch. Over who is up to speculation really. Looking around, as if to check no one is looking for a small child in the tree, Klee nods before speaks ]

Klee needs help! I'm on a super secret mission! Valentine's Day is coming and Klee wants to make some special presents! But umm, the stuff Klee found is okay. It's yummy but not Valentine's day yummy. Mom says it's a love day for friends too not just couples!

So, Klee needs help finding the best sweets and chocolates. Umm, I would make them, but Klee doesn't know how to make candy or allowed to cook. I didn't mean to blow up the stove.  Oh, Klee needs a different place to make and hide the surprise too. I haven't found a good place to hide treasure like back home. It's gonna be a big surprise!

Oh, it's top secret too. [She doesn't understand that by saying it via the Omnoa makes it no longer a secret, bit kid logic.] You can't tell Klee's friends! If you help you have to make a pinkie promise with Klee. Um, if you help Klee, Klee will give you one her super secret surprises too! And Klee will help you if you ever need help, too!

So please help Klee find the best chocolates and sweets ever! Thanks.

My name is Nehan-- I'm researching how medicine works here, and how to merge it with the methods I'm used to. If my research goes well, for instance, I will be able to act as a doctor and pharmacist, among other roles found here.

To that end, I'm requesting samples of blood from fellow Sleepers. I understand it can be quite personal, so whoever does not want to do that need not respond. Those who do, so I can perform the phlebotomy myself, and can privately send you my address, and answer questions you may have.

Whoever wants to help but doesn't want a needle in their arm, I still have a job for you, if anyone is interested.

[very straight to the point, almost unwelcomingly so. but at least people know what they're getting into if they decide to deal with him?]

[The video opens up on Lance in the arena at The Gate breathing heavily, there's a bleeding bullet wound through his left shoulder and a bruise forming on one cheek. It's clear, he didn't start this video by the angle that it's being filmed at and how he's bent over with his hands on his knees. Those who have discovered Omens can double as phones may figure out that is how this is being filmed. On some level Lance wants to share this moment and his omen answered his subconscious mental command.

In the corner of the screen there is a black smoke floating in the air, dissipating but forming what looks like a... middle finger? Lance then leans down and picks up Reaper's mask off what remains of his corpse and looks at it. Then he speaks to Reaper's remains, his voice sounding rough and in a weird sort of shock.]

For two years I thought I deserved what you did to me, that it was my fault. You tortured me... for hours. [He takes in a shuddering breath holding the mask tight and shaking.] Then you suffocated me to death with your body's smoke and you've haunted my dreams ever since... But Moira- Moira told me it wasn't my fault, that... the nightmare took over my mind and made me hurt her. You knew it too, but you did that to me anyway. Funny how it took killing you for me to realize maybe she was right and you were wrong.

[He practically snarls the last part and then turns to face his omen and sees it's broadcasting something to someone. Now that he's snapped out of the shock of it all, he grins triumphantly at the "camera", the bloodsport high returning and he's devolving into a bit of a hysterical meltdown.] You hear that?! I, Lance, Paladin of Voltron, actually killed Reaper! The big, bad, scary smoke man in the stupid mask who killed me and Chloe is dead. And I conquered his ass! ME!

[He holds up the mask he took off Reaper's body like it's a both proof and a trophy.] I'm keeping this to remind myself I don't have to be afraid anymore. You guys should all totally try out killing your demons, it's great!

( ooc: lance is replying to all responses after he's had time to come back to a little bit more mental stability/coherency. )

[His transmission is short. He sits at home, holding his Omni up in front of him while his fox omen sits in his lap, curled up. Possibly one of the few times it wasn't causing all sorts of chaos.]

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I figured there would be at least a handful of you who would like to know.

[He pauses for only a moment.]

If you knew Manabu Yuuki, he was killed. I imagine he won't be back for at least a few weeks or so. His corruption had gotten the better of him, so I made sure his death was quick and painless.

[Video opens up and its the Disaster house...isn't it? Or maybe its Halloween somehow making its way into the house. There are skeletons and zombie facsimiles all over the front of the house, ravens and colors of orange and black all over the top portion. Someone is very much using their ability to fly to make sure the house looks as complete as possible.

The backyard has a faux cemetery because of course it does, and currently putting up tombstones is one Luz Noceda, in a cat skull mask, and she waves to all of you].

Hey! Sooo...in light of getting back into my regular sleeping pattern, I learned that we have something like a certain festive holiday back home, except its all about hiding your face! There's folklore that reminds me a little of Samhain with the whole keeping away bad spirits, so I figure: why not get into the spirit, and meld that sentiment with Halloween from back home?

So over at the house I'll be doing my best to keep things creepy: eyeballs, fake blood, creepy music, the whole deal. Kinda helps with the ambiance, and so far? Nothing really bad has happened yet!

Granted, gotta keep it that way too! Part of this is for the fun, part is for, well, you never know? In case spooks around here aren't just made up.

[Look, she had a whole ordeal on a boat with dead bodies. Letting her naivete fool her is just dumb at this point].
