Hi, everyone! In case we haven't met, this is Manabu Yuuki. [brief, little wave.]

I've been doing a lot of research about the world outside of this city, and me and a few others went out to check out the perimeter...you know, past the Waystation and that nasty salt lake. There's a west-facing road out there that just...gets swallowed up by the forest.

But it is a road.

I want to go out there. See if there's not another town somewhere. This isn't the nightmare, after all...we're on a whole planet. And we can't be the only ones.

I'm not going out there alone, though: It's crawling with monsters, day and night. So I need backup. A lot of backup. Basically... I need some combat-veteran explorers willing to go out there and see if we can't find where that road leads...or used to lead.

We'll need a lantern, too. And lots of incense. That way, if it's too crazy, we can at least put a new waypoint down for future efforts, you know?

So... So that's it. If you're interested, let me know. I can send you the details if you're serious about it, and we can set out later in the week. Before any...monthly weirdness can kick up, hopefully.

[ What kind of party decorations would Uraraka like best? The question lodges itself at the back of his mind, ever present. He ends up at a local cafe for a few hours scrolling through his device looking at party blogs. There's a notepad in front of him with different themes jotted down: wild west, pirates, tropical island, fright night, luau, masquerade, under the sea. It's quite an interesting assortment and he looks so very serious about it, staring intently at what he's written before adding another - rave. 

When social media blogs fail to help him narrow down his choices, he turns to Trench. The video turns on showing him seated outside a cafe in street clothes. Once he sees that it's recording he gets straight to the point. ]

[ The video turns on and there is a sound like... bees? No, maybe something... vibrating? The video is dark. It's hard to tell. Then the video shifts, and the noise shifts with it, and then -- ]

Maurice, get off of that--

[ There's a belligerent meow, and then the video feed is abruptly filled with light as it's made apparent that a large cat that is clearly someone's Omen was laying on the video feed. A second later the entire scene is made more apparent: there's Akira (who you may recognize from a previous post that he guest starred in) peering down, holding the (large) cat in his arms. ]

Oh. [ He sets Maurice down. ] Go harass Akechi. [ Maurice, for his part, looks imperious in the way that only a cat can, and then walks out of view of the camera entirely. Akira reaches down... there's a very shaky camera for a moment before Akira seems to properly get ahold of his Omni that he left a little too carelessly where a cat could get it. ]

Hey, does anyone here cut hair? [ Now that you're looking-- if you're looking-- you can tell that Akira's hair has gotten... long. He's tied it back in a very messy, curly manbun, but it has the clear appearance of someone who has given up trying to look remotely put together and leaned hard into the 'crazed coffee hermit' look. ]

I, uh... can give you a good cup of coffee in exchange. Or some curry.

Also, does anyone know how to take care of frogs? Thanks.
