He does enjoy cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. Perhaps the sort of spices or recipes that might be similar to your home, as an excuse for him to cook for you and for us to have you over for dinner.

Now now, it's not so bad! It is at his business after all. If there were any little touches he'd like to add to this little get together that is to his liking, now he can do it freely. I'm sure that will give him some measure of satisfaction over it.
[He's not sure how particular Diluc is about these kinds of things, but he knows he'd want The Roost to be acceptable to his own terms.]
