[ there's a house covered in toilet paper with a very tired jedi standing in front of it, just massaging his temple. ]

Is there a reason why my house is covered in paper? I assume there is a purpose to this other than a gross misuse of resources and time. If you have any issues with me, I much prefer a discussion than a clean up job.

[ he swats some of the butterflies away before sighing. ]

I'll know I'm there when I see the mess. [ A poor attempt at a joke...

But with that, she's off. It doesn't take her long to get there, she's spent a lot of time exploring since her arrival. When she finds the home, she stops far enough so as not to interrupt anyone already there helping, and takes note of just how much tp was wasted on this.

She sighs, then smiles and waves at the man from the video as she approaches him. ]

I'm Sersi, by the way.

[jedies]

[ hmm. the force seems to be attuned to her. somehow. ]

It's nice to meet you. My name is Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan Kenobi.

It's nice to meet you as well- though I'm sorry it's under this kind of circumstance.

[ But she's here to help make lemonade from these lemons. ]

This might sound strange, but what kind of resources would you need most right now? Soil, clean water, metals, rocks...?

[Wow, he's interrupting all over the place, but he can't pass this offer up entirely, and calls out-]

If Master Kenobi doesn't have a preference -

Soil. I'd like to start gardening again. Any soil with minimal corruption would help so much.

[jedies]

[ he chuckles. ]

Why not? I can't have my garden languish.

[terraphile]

[ Sersi smiles over at Ezra, then back at Obi-Wan. ]

We can definitely do soil... If there's any lingering corruption in the toilet paper for some reason, I can't remove it. [ She hasn't tested this completely yet. ] But I'll need the toilet paper you've already taken down and something to put the soil in.

[jedies]

[ he bows in thanks. ]

Give us a moment then.

[ he turns to the house, extends his hand and the toilet paper slowly unravels itself, floating down to the ground. ]

[ezra_of_lothal]

Uhhh. Bucket?

[He knows he's seen one around here somewhere, but not exactly where, do he goes dashing around the back of the house to go look. Fortunately, he spots it quickly and come back with it in hand.]

[ Sersi watches the toilet paper unravel and float down, then turns to Ezra as he returns with the bucket in hand. ]

Perfect, thank you...

[ She gathers the toilet paper and places it in the bucket before holding part of it and focusing as gold symbols bloom across the tp and it changes from the offending product to soil in a blink of an eye. She carefully dusts the soil from her hands and smiles at them both. ]

I'm happy to do the same with all of the toilet paper- or turn some of it into other organic matter.

[ fascinating. he's never seen a power like that before and even obi-wan couldn't help some unabashed staring. ]

We're very grateful. If you don't mind me asking, how did you do that?

[ezra_of_lothal]

[Yeah, Ezra's also openly staring, and mouthing 'so cool'. Has he met people with massive reality altering powers before? Well, yes, hence an entire lifetime of other memories.

But Sersi was just so chill about it.]

Oh... I'm able to use cosmic energy for matter transmutation.

[ She smiles brightly at the both of them and holds up one finger before glancing around and picking up a rock. ]

Like this... [ She presses her opposite hand to it, and a few glowing gold symbols later, the rock dissolves into water in her hand. ]

[jedies]

[ cosmic energy . . . like the cosmic side of the force? he's never heard of it being able to do that, but the force does work in mysterious ways.

the circles though . . . they look familiar. on older jedi temples. ]

Those symbols . . . what language is that?

[ezra_of_lothal]

[Ezra's having similar thoughts about old temples.]

That does look weirdly familiar.

[ That does make her pause a moment as she tries to decide on just how to answer it. But it's clear when she does answer, that it's kind of exciting for her to be able to talk about this: ]

It's not... exactly a language per se. It's sacred geometry- symbols and patterns that come up in all areas of life, proving how everything is connected. The way energy arranges itself to create our DNA, plants, or even the universe at large can be broken down into these patterns.

The symbols could look familiar- [ She nods at Ezra to show she heard his comment. ] Because many religions use variations of these in their art and places of worship. It might not be identical, but it all draws upon the same idea or inspiration.

[ hmm. ]

On Earth or throughout the universe?

[terraphile]

Throughout the universe... Maybe even all universes?

[ Maybe? She doesn't want to make that assumption, but even in the face of a multi-verse, it should... be the same? ]

[jedies]

[ he remains silent for a moment. ]

In our galaxy, we have the Force. Which binds all living things together. I sense something similar with your power, but it seems . . . to stem from something cosmic.

[ezra_of_lothal]

[More to Obi-wan, Ezra says-]

I know it's supposed to be heresy, or error, or whatever, but the more I'm around different things that get called magic, the more it seems to me that we call Force use and all these other powers are all aspects of the same....

[He searches for a word.] Spectrum? Continuum?

They could be very similar... ah- my abilities definitely draw from cosmic energy, as we were created to protect planets [ ._. until they were to be destroyed. she's just going to... push that uncomfortable thought back. ] by world creators called Celestials.

[ She doesn't have the answer of whether their Force was in the same design as her powers- but it did post a very interesting question. ]

[jedies]

[ he shakes his head at ezra. ]

Any power that binds the universe together would be the Force. Or even a version of the Force, regardless of the name used.

[ is this heretical? probably not. the force functions with them, no matter where they were. ]

Still, this sort of application . . . You were created to protect planets? From what?

[ezra_of_lothal]

[Oh. Well, Ezra will certainly accept that interpretation. He just vaguely recalls being told a few times that the Force isn't magic. In a murmur to himself-]

...that makes more sense.

[Then he just looks to Sersi and waits.

Creatures that deplete a world of its resources and prevent those who inhabit the world from evolving and maturing.

[ Her brow furrows a little as she sifts the dirt through her fingers. ]

To be honest, I was never helpful protecting the people of Earth from those creatures. It was much easier to help them with their daily lives- cultivating crops, building homes and structures, cooking and celebrating the joys of life with them... and even later, helping to teach them of their past in hopes for a better future.

[jedies]

[ the sith? no, this sounded more animalistic. or machine-like, if he was being honest. ]

So your job was to help civilisations reach maturity? Quite noble.
