[Tory flips on her Omni. Behind her sits a black and gold dragon that is roughly the size of an ostrich. Judging by Tory’s calm body language, it’s clear that the dragon is not a beast, but rather, her omen.]

I’m looking for name suggestions for a female dragon. I thought about calling her either Kindness or possibly Thoughts and Prayers, but I should probably consider something more serious, too.

[Much as she appreciates the sarcastic humour of the names, with people here from so many different worlds, it’s a joke that would probably be lost on most people here.]

Also, I was able to make bug spray with my powers. If you’ve got something to trade, you can have some.

[There’s a short pause before she adds one final thing.]

By the way, if you threaten to cut out someone’s tongue because they said some mean words you didn’t like? You’re a bigger asshole than them. Go touch grass.

[Interesting. It sounds like Silver and Kreese are two more old men uselessly clinging to the past. They suspected, given everything they've said and everything Johnny said on his posts but it's amusing that this seems to be a recurring theme.]

Where I come from, leaving someone alive in any shape would be considered mercy. You can talk to them and befriend them without hurting them, only dodging their attacks and never attacking, or you can beat them within an inch of their lives and then let them live. Both are mercy. [Sort of. There's a unique challenge to doing the first and the second is less practical for a pacifist run, but it is still funny to them.]

So it's a bit funny to hear "No Mercy" coming out of a karate dojo. [It would be alarming to others, but well. Chara's own motto in the surface world was "kill or be killed" so it's not like they can talk.]

Your Sensei is helping a friend of mine, so I'm sure it has merit. I do trust her judgement afterall. But I think he needs to learn how to adapt.

Where I come from, everyone takes turns in combat. Adjusting has been a challenge, but I've done it nevertheless.

Well, it's no actual skin off my teeth. I find him rather annoying, he's just housing a friend and ally of mine and I'd like her to be happy if possible.

They take turns attacking, but the other person can still defend when it's not their turn. But skill is a big aspect of it still, yes.

No.

Think of it more like how some worlds have magic and some don't. Mine simply has this as a foundational rule. That doesn't mean that some enemies won't come up with clever aways to attack you on your turn, but by and large it's simply a rule of my universe.

There was a curse running rampant that made all the Darkbloods and Coldbloods have a powerful urge to kill any Vilebloods or Warmbloods they came across.

I'm a Darkblood.

I was more surprised by losing the fight, honestly. I've fought enemies that found ways to hurt me during my turns.

[Sans.......]

But I was confused by the mechanics, yes.

Yes, pretty common. Stuff like it anyway. There's monthly effects depending on bloodtype, sometimes it'll be... hmm... you'll feel more social, more honest, kinder. Other times, you'll crave the taste of a certain kind of blood. Or you'll be filled with debilitating pain.

It must be a real pain for the locals when curses like that happen, they don't even come back when we kill them.

[That was a confession of murder, yes.]

At least Sleepers are just about impossible to kill permanently.

An argument could be made that dying is a more merciful fate than continuing to live here for them.
