[Tory flips on her Omni. Behind her sits a black and gold dragon that is roughly the size of an ostrich. Judging by Tory’s calm body language, it’s clear that the dragon is not a beast, but rather, her omen.]

I’m looking for name suggestions for a female dragon. I thought about calling her either Kindness or possibly Thoughts and Prayers, but I should probably consider something more serious, too.

[Much as she appreciates the sarcastic humour of the names, with people here from so many different worlds, it’s a joke that would probably be lost on most people here.]

Also, I was able to make bug spray with my powers. If you’ve got something to trade, you can have some.

[There’s a short pause before she adds one final thing.]

By the way, if you threaten to cut out someone’s tongue because they said some mean words you didn’t like? You’re a bigger asshole than them. Go touch grass.

Noted. Fucked up, but good to be aware of. I guess when people can come back from the dead, people start thinking of murder as being more like beating someone up.

Plus a lot of us are used to life or death stakes, I suppose. So they see someone being loud and abrasive and see a threat rather than just a blowhard.

Yeah. And I guess that makes them think he'll back down, because they're so scary. But he doesn't, because he's just kinda like this.

Yeah, that makes sense.

Sensei Lawrence isn't someone who backs down from a fight. Even when it's obvious it's going to go badly for him. I both respect it and wonder if he's got any self preservation instincts or common sense at all.

Guessing that probably caused some problems back home?

He's pretty damn good at karate, but yeah, when someone can take your whole head off with one punch, it's a bit of a moot point.

Might see about getting him some stuff to even the odds a bit. We'll see.

Never really kept tabs on what he does in his private life, but I wouldn't be surprised.

What kind of stuff?

Brass knuckles empowered by blood magic, steel tipped boots, that kind of thing. He's good in a fight, but he's not really striking hard enough for this place, I'd say. There's some people here who'd shrug off a brass knuckle to the face, but it'd interrupt most people.

Do you know how to empower weapons with blood magic? I can make weapons with my powers, but I've got no idea if they've got any sort of magic boost from being created out of darkblood powers.

Not personally, no, but there's a bunch of places dotted around dedicated to adding an extra oomph to weapons.

You make weapons, though? Like, forge 'em?

That sounds really useful. Any places you'd recommend?

Not forging. I make them just exist out of nothing.
