[ Yuri's voice is low and rough, somehow both heated and emotionless. His emotional state has been degrading since Flynn's omen led him to Flynn's corpse. He growls and there's rustling over the Omni ]

If you killed him, be at the Gate at midnight.

[ And he's pretty sure this guy could kill him, and if there's a chance Flynn's going to come back, he wants to be alive for that.

Maybe if it turns out Flynn is completely dead and gone, then he'll take the risk, then he'll seek revenge for Flynn, for Fern, for all these people this guy hurt. ]

[That explanation says a heck of a lot to Fern. He understands it, wanting to do something so, so badly, but being stopped because it would make someone else unhappy.]

[ That's really all there is to it, isn't there? He does care about Flynn, he cares about Flynn enough to go against his own instincts, to channel what Flynn would do, to honor Flynn by not putting himself in danger for no good reason because Flynn would never want him to do that.

He could talk more about Flynn. Blue said it would help him, but he isn't ready yet. ]

[ Because that'll distract him. It's an invitation without being an invitation. It'll give him something to hurt, to kill, and being with people does make him feel better, even if he'd rather be alone. ]

[It seems better to just state that he's coming along instead of asking. If he asks, then that might give Yuri the chance to say no, and he's pretty sure it's better if he has company. Especially company that understands sometimes you're feeling way too much, and the only way to get it all out is to stab some monsters.]
