Hey everyone. Mako here.

[ The voice clips in just before the actual video appears for reasons that become clear in a moment: Mako steps back from where he's clearly set the Omni on a table to record what looks like a garage sale right outside the Raccoon Room.

A long table absolutely covered in little bits and baubles glints in the sun. In the center of everything sits Fritter the raccoon, Wu's omen, looking contrite and also sort of like she would like to leave. Her little ears are back and her tiny arms are crossed.

Scowling, Mako steps back to stand in front of the table, crossing his arms to match Fritter. ]

Some of you might have noticed some stuff going missing in the last couple months.

[ A pause. Mako glances back at Fritter, who huffs at him and holds up a winking blue heart-shaped gem on a sparkling chain. That... sure looks important. ]

Can't promise that what you lost is here, but there's a good chance it is. We'll be out here all day.

I'm sorry! [ Wu's voice pipes up from behind the camera ] It's my fault, really.

[ He turns the Omni around at a very selfie angle, pouting at the camera ]

I'm sorry that Fritter stole your stuff, it wasn't her fault! It was mine. Corruption just got me! I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I was mean to so many of you. Shiro, I'm sorry for making fun of your hair; Jessica, I'm sorry for throwing you out of the Raccoon Room. Manabu, I'm really sorry that I made you get a tattoo. [ Big grimace there ] I mean, I still think it looks great on you—

[ Mako clears his throat and Wu wrinkles his nose ] but that's not the point! I'm sorry for all of it. I'm better now! No more corruption here, no sir.

[ A beat. Mako narrows his eyes even more.]

Uh, please come get your stuff!

[He hasn't exactly been worried about it, but he's definitely noticed they keep vanishing on him. Honestly, he just sort of assumed that he lost them by being a space cadet.]

Glad you're feeling better, man. You were...pretty intense for a bit there!

[Ryan, meanwhile, is still speckled with feathers and still has a pair of brown wings - someone hasn't figured out how to undo the whole siren thing yet.]

Yes, so many of them. She really likes them, I think because they're sparkly. [ Wu picks up half a dozen guitar picks to show Ryan with a sheepish smile ]

I know, I know! I'm really sorry I got so weird. I never thought it would get me, but I guess that was silly of me. Mako and I made a plan to stop it from happening again, or at least, to try.

[ He's definitely seen the feathers over the last month, but purses his lips anyway at them ]

[This might be the first time she's smiled, and it's been genuine, since Asami had gone.]

Well that explains where my shirts were going.

[There is indeed a small pile of them, mainly lazy day t-shirts she'd gotten, plus a few exercise tops.]

It also explains why Naga was growling at the windows a few times. Two mysteries, one raccoon.

[ Mako knew he recognized some of those shirts. He shoots Fritter another Look, and she chitters back at him, largely unrepentant for her crimes. Is it her fault Korra's chilling shirts are so soft and comfortable and smell like a friend?

No. No it is not. Nothing is Fritter's fault, because Fritter is perfect. Wu has spent her entire life telling her so.

Mako rolls his eyes, even though it's good to see Korra smiling. He won't remark on it yet: not while it's still so new and fragile a thing. ]

I'll fold 'em up for you. Should've just had Naga watching her. Would've saved us a lot of trouble. You know how much stuff she stole, Korra? There was a mountain in the green room.

She's allowed to keep it. I already replaced it and you can consider it ...collateral for the other night. I might have broke a glass or two on accident? I'm really sorry.

[It takes ...a lot of alcohol for Hayato to even get drunk but he sure managed it, then. Probably for the first time in a decade. It was a rough night lads.]

[He's looking through the camera to see if his mask ended up on that table. He's pretty sure he spots it towards the back of the table, the red and gold an easy catch to the eye.]

Though I had no idea Fritter had made off with my mask.

[He gives her a look too, but he can't stay mad at her. It's not her fault.]

[ He laughs in a weird, high-pitched, sheepish way ] Yeah, she sure did! Sorry, about that. Your song was really wonderful! I didn't mean, um, all the rude things I said. I really like your playing, you're a really great part of the show!

You, ah, yes, I'll make sure no one else takes your mask.

[ Wu sags back against the table with a groan, holding onto the edge of it. Fritter looks despondent in the middle of her hoard ]

I don't know why you had to be so mean about it. She just took some stuff, it isn't a big deal!

[ Mako glances at him, trying and failing to hide his own amusement. His eyes glint with it. ]

No, you're right, actually.

I don't suppose you have found some earrings mixed in with all that?

[Maul does not look amused or happy; his arms folded across his chest while he glares. Look, some of those earrings have sentimental value!]

Maul! Oh, we definitely have a few... [ More than a few. Earrings are shiny, Fritter loves them. Wu looks through the pile of things on the table, and picks up a pair pearl earrings that are most likely not Maul's ] Like these? So sorry if she stole them, she's really, she was misbehaving because of me, it really wasn't her fault.

but also he needs to check if there's something there that's very important, and that nehan knows has gone missing and not misplaced. he forgets nothing, so it's impossible for him to have just placed his earrings down and then forgotten where they were. impossible.

Would there happen to be a pair of yellow earrings shaped like tear drops, and shine brighter than many other gems? [despite the polite words, his voice is barely above a growl. he's not pleased.]

[ Mako recognizes his voice, at the very least. This is the guy who met his grandmother, which is just... great. So great that Fritter probably stole something important to him. Stifling a sigh—it's just audible—he turns to rummage through some metallic clinking things. ]

...yup. Got 'em right here. One second.

[ He turns the video feed on with little click to make sure that the camera is in fact trained on the correct winking yellow earrings, nestled there amid a pile of other gems. Fritter really went to town. ]

[ Considering how much Ange is someone who's just about doing things directly, she doesn't bother replying to the post - instead just making her way over there as soon as she has time. It's good to see that Wu is 100% definitely himself again anyway, considering how obviously he had been acting like he was corrupted before.

Even if she wasn't looking for something, she would have stopped by to check up on his state anyway.

But considering Ange did lose something, she just gets over to the makeshift not-quite-garage not-quite-sale.

Considering the sheer amount of things out on display right here, all Ange can say once she approaches and stops in front of the tables is just: ]

.. how much can one raccoon steal? [ Fritter sure is something, isn't she. ] Hi, guys.

[ Fritter only looks a little contrite, looking up at Ange with her big doe eyes ]

A lot, apparently. [ Wu sighs, reaching down to pet over Fritter's head. She leans into his hand ] Did you think that Omens can get corrupted right along with you? Because I sure didn't! My poor baby, she didn't deserve that, did you?

[ He coos over her before turning back to Ange with a sheepish smile ]

[Here comes Bolin, sidling up to the table with one hand in his pocket and a steamed bun in the other.

Some of it is in his mouth. Don't ask questions about what's for dinner now.

He eyes the table with interest. It's all the cool stuff that's been showing up in the green room lately. It's not just Fritter's stash room of choice.]

What's going on? Are we doing a fire sale or something?

Hey, bro! [ We're trying something new here, and Wu gives him a little punch to the arm. It's weird, but he's trying. Wu laughs awkwardly ] Nothing's for sale! Fritter, uh... stole all this stuff? So we're giving it back. Did anything go missing for you in the last month or two?

[at the announcement, she breaths a quick sigh of relief. fortunately it isn't far between her house and the Racoon Room.

she arrives at the tables, looking a little sheepish] So...you wouldn't happen to have a garnet brooch in Princess Fritter's haul, would you? It's a really old family heirloom, so I nearly passed out when I realized it was missing.

[royalfling]

Oh, no! Of course she has to steal the important things. She's a lady of taste. [ It's affectionate, but he is a little sheepish about it, laughing awkwardly. ]

Brooch, brooch... [ He scans the table, finding the little jewelry section he'd made. Mako had just put everything out scattershot, but Wu knows what's valuable to people and made a little section for the jewelry--or, really a big section, since it's mostly what Fritter stole. ] You know, I had a brooch, once. I buried it when I got here, to Trench.

She, uh. She wouldn't happen to have made off with something made of paper, would she? I mean, it's not sparkly, but it's missing and it's pretty important to me. 'Cause I wrote it. It's my play.

[ Paper, huh? Mako glances over the hoard, but a ream of paper will be pretty hard to spot in this mess if it is there. ]

She's more interested in shiny things, but if you're worried about it, come take a look. I'll be out here all day, and she'll be helping.

[ Fritter, behind him, makes an affronted noise. She did NOT agree to this. ]
