[ The first thing in full view is a slushie shop. But not just any, oh no. It is.. wildly decorated. The kind of thing you can't stare at for longer than 10 seconds without feeling like you get a headache. There's someone standing behind the counter, though they look completely unrecognizable. You know, on account of the fact that they're wearing a slushie mascot outfit. Good luck guessing whose arms those are. Honestly, the person isn't even really standing there. They're more just slumped over said counter, like they've given up on life.

The view lingers on that for a moment before the Omni seems to be switched around, instead putting Ruby into full view. ]

[Ruby looks over to the mascot after a brief pause.]

[ The slushie suit sighs, and the voice that follows it - that's definitely Ange. ]

I thought the agreement was that I didn't have to talk on video in exchange for wearing this.

[Ruby just looks to her for a moment before looking back to the camera.]

Well come on down to the Slush! For all of your cool treat ideas! Everything is made by me and my lovely assisant Ange! With Blood magic!

We've got slushies, Ice cream, smoothies and a boat load of magical fans to help you BEAT THE HEAT! Do you want to be a gross pile of sweat? No you don't! So come down to the board walk where it isn't hot and it doesn't suck!

[ That's when Ange pipes up again. ]

And if someone is going to cause a dumb fuss over at the stand, they're going to die.

[And Ruby slides in front of Ange.]

[And she raises her hands and generates a few ripples of ice with her coldblood powers.]

[It does, and it certainly has weighed very heavily on them all, considering the state of things - especially now. Being a Hero was never easy, there was a lot of responsibility, expectation, and mountains of societal pressure...but it's like Ochako has been asking herself again and again, for months: who saves Heroes when they need saving? The answer is actually rather simple.]

No, I'm definitely not. All my friends and classmates share the same burden, and we carry it together, supporting one another and taking away some of that weight. I'm really, really, really glad to have been a part of UA. I made so many friends, and my teachers are amazing. It's almost felt like...l-like a second family, kind of. It's nice.

[Sappy or not, that's the answer. The ones who save Heroes when they need saving...are the ones who walk alongside them.]

Ehehe, sorry for getting all cheesy... Maybe the heat's getting me more warm and fuzzy these days.

Hey, the heat is just making me annoyed, so you make sure to enjoy it for two people's worth or whatever.

She doesn't even mean it in a bad way. If the weather is doing something good for Ochako, then that's a good thing, even though Ange sure doesn't find even the tiniest part of herself enjoying this heat in any way. It's the absolute worst.

And it's also easier to focus on than any talk of school, considering her own traumatic experiences with that. Even if Ochako's own were apparently great, Ange would still prefer to move around that talk with as wide of a bend as possible. ]

Besides, it's nice to have some good things to think about in an ultra-gloomy place like this.

[Okay, that? That actually manages to make Ochako snort and laugh pretty darn loud, and she eventually has to cover her mouth because, oops...a little too much volume there. Waving her hand, Ochako tugs at her shirt to air it out somewhat. Honestly...this feels so close to what summers are like in Japan it's obscene. Hot, sticky, and...ugh.]

Believe me, that's definitely a part of what I feel most nights, ehehe. I, uh... [Ochako blushes, nearly catching herself admitting something pretty embarrassing about her sleeping arrangements publicly where everyone could see, ahaha...] L-Let's just say my room gets very warm, even at night.

[Bakugou is a furnace, and since they sleep together, it's been...a little more than just a little unbearable.]

Um, a-anyway, try to stay cool, ne? If and when the ocean settles down, maybe take a dip or something. Or a cool bath or shower!! I'm going to get ready and then head over for some refreshments and stuff. I wanna make it before the temperature rises any more than it already has, ehehe. See you soon!!

Ochako, please. Ange is definitely observant enough to entirely know what the other means. Sure, the fact that Ange herself is engaged to a coldblood she has shared a bed with for ages now helps, because it immediately makes the fact that Ochako is hot at night and the girl's embarrassment about it click together..

Thankfully she's nice enough to not bring it up. It's not like it's scandalous or anything. You have fun cuddling with your heat-powers-related partner, Ochako. Her lips are sealed.

Instead Ange just nods a little. It's hard to see, considering the costume and all, but it's like it.. bops up and down a little.. ]
