[The video opens at the beach, with the boardwalk in the distance behind him. Nara'a looks... rough. His eyes are a little brighter red, his hair and fur out of place. His skin is slightly paler, too - though it's a little hard to tell with how pale he usually is.]

So... um. If you haven't noticed, people keep being drawn to the ocean and keep trying to throw themselves in.

I've been trying to stop people, but I've been out here for days and I need someone to help me. I need to go rest.

So if there's anyone who can come down and help without wanting to go back to the ocean, I'd appreciate it.

[He almost turns the omni off, but pauses.]

And if you're one of those thinking about trying to go back... it's not going to work. You'll just come back, and the pain isn't going to be any better for it.

[Now he shuts the omni off.]

[And Luca heads right down. Thanks to having set his own lamp friend up on the shore, it's not long before Luca's there, approaching the man he spoke to on the network.]

[His ears wiggle happily, as does his tail. He's glad to see someone else here.]

I'm Nara'a. It's nice to meet you. You said you can't drown?

Esattamente! I have gills whenever I get wet.

[Technically, it's possible he always has gills, but they're closed and not visible when he's dry even if they are going somewhere.]

[He blinks in surprise, but then nods. Sure, why not? It's not unbelievable in this place.]

I see. I don't have gills, but a blessing from the kami of the Kojin means that I can breathe underwater.

Oh. I've...never heard of kamis or Kojins before. My gills are just a normal sea folk thing.

Kami are like gods... kojin are like turtle-people. But... sea-folk? That sounds really interesting.

[schoolingfish]

We grow scales and fins and tails and stuff when we're wet, but we look human when we're dry. So there aren't any gods involved with it or anything like that. Although I think meeting turtle people would be pretty neat!

So I guess the plan is just to stay here and look for people who seem like they want to go into the water and try to talk them out of it, then swim after anyone already in the water, right?

Oh, I see. I don't think we have those where I'm from, but they sound pretty neat, too!

[He nods.]

Yes, that's about the size of it.
