ok so theres someone looking for "all of the media" and theyre doing something cool in cellar door. send all your:

But I do not know a whole huge amount of "Media" as it were.
However! I have a really terrible collection of movies about cars.
I had to go hunting for them really hard for reasons.
But they're awful and hilarious.
no subject
they were really dedicated to putting something together.
for fun, mostly i think bc "entertainment" feed, but also probably learning
what reasons? you dont have to answer that but i am down to know what they are!
i could use a laugh even if its an awful one
no subject
Hah, oh, because I was keeping a friend busy.
And she's the kind of person who really appreciates dumb actions that should be comedies.
Bright, flashy cars and over the top antics are perfect.
It was surprisingly effective.
no subject
whats the name of these movies
asking for
a friend
nah im asking for me
no subject
The Fast and the Furious.
And trust me, we've all had our fair share of "Just asking for a friend" moments.
This series is insane gold.
(OOC: I will fucking laugh my ass off if we get a Dom one of these days.)
no subject
i get why theyre fast but why are they furious
is that what the funny part is
ANGRY CARS
[ooc: that would be amazing ngl]
no subject
I swear, absolutely swear that I saw something about car international spies in the dream.
But that's a whole other series and I have to find it.
The angry ones were the drivers, sadly enough.
no subject
there's a lot more out there than i would have guessed
keep it coming im game for that too
were they rival gangs of angry drivers
no subject
I don't even know, honest to god.
So, there's rival gangs but I don't think that's as big a thing at first.
It's one racing gang that's secretly robbers, and the cops trying to catch them.
You know, before they end up being the good guys of the story, and the cops dicks.
And I think one of the cops falls for one of the crooks?
I have trouble following this incredibly ornate plot, I promise.
And that's just the first one.
no subject
robbers are a gang but theyre not bad people
everyone is REALLY ANGRY and then love makes it more of a mess
im following this pretty well
how many are there?
[when the summary vaguely reads like your life story.]
no subject
Oh, and a couple short pieces.
I'm pretty sure they weren't done either.
Amazing how long you can take these things.

gonna be the first thing i watch when the place is ready.
i heard you do these with corn or was someone just pulling my leg?
Re: text un: vi
Strap yourself in kid.
There's like five of these.
And they're required watching if you're going to doing anymore training with me.
[There were more but Johnny stopped watching movies after the 80's.]
Let me know when you're set up. I'm always down to rewatch these.
They're pulling your leg. Popcorn isn't actually corn.
Completely different and way better.
no subject
its gonna be a ride huh
im ready for this
five are you serious
better than corn
corn that pops
ill take ur word for it
and ill let u know when its gonna happen
[five of these?? more than five angry no
way it could be boringcarriage movies? great epic stories about ladies solve murders? she's in. movie nights are going to be a thing.]text; un: lady
But it's all on line already anyway. You only have to ask your omni crystal.

A whole movie about carriages sounds very boring. Have you seen any of Law and Order, Special Victims Unit? It's very good. A lady detective goes around throwing horrible men in gaol.
no subject
but
this sounds good too for different reasons
your lady detective
shes she one of the good ones that actually wants to do good and let the real criminals get what they deserve??
no subject
I also like Miss Fisher's Mysteries. She's not even police so she doesn't have to concern herself with enforcing any of the stupid laws, and her clothes are very good. She doesn't have as many videos, though.
no subject
i mean it was SOME PEOPLES entertainment but
thats cool that she looks out for the kids
and the women too
would make a fucking bummer of a show no thanks
like who do you root for if your main character is just an asshole
no laws huh
so shes just a well dressed rebel without a fuck to give
i like that too
would you watch some with me
like whatever ones you pick
and then maybe we can watch some furious cars
no subject
She doesn't care what anyone thinks, though she works with a handsome lawman who has to answer to all sorts. They have a great romance, though I think he wants to be married and she doesn't. She takes in a girl who was forced into work as a thief and raises her as her daughter. You get to see all the different things that happen in her household, and some of the politics of her realm. It's very interesting. I do think you would like it.
I don't see what carriages have to be angry about, though. Are they cross someone took their horses away because they don't need them anymore?
no subject
does she catch that madman
wait no dont tell me that part i dont want to know yet
i bet she kinda cares what the lawman thinks. and she raises a little thief? ding ding ding. that? that's the sound of this hitting all my bells.
we should do it. yes. we are doing this. when you are not busy and i am not busy.
neo said the drivers were angry? i would really like to see cars battle each other. maybe the horses were tired and decided to walk off the job and thats why everyone is angry.
no subject
Anyway Jeyne is only forced to steal by a cruel man because her mother is ill and can't care for her; she only wants to read and do school and be like Miss Fisher. Miss Fisher sometimes has to steal things for a case, though. She can do a great many things.
I should be glad to watch the Miss Fisher videos with you, but I can't say that battling with carriages sounds very interesting. My brothers were always very interested in battles but it's only people fighting each other, and then half of them end up dead. If they were in carriages it would only be harder to see what was happening.

I can definitely bring them some titles! Who knows, maybe we can help each other out with all this media stuff!
text un: vi
they were very determined to make this happen
some serious enthusiasm
whoa cool
whos we
also i got some book questions when you have time
Re: text un: vi
That would be me and Lexi Howard, the girl who originally was starting the plan to make the bookstore. Mi Novia.
Book questions! Ooh! I have time now! Pick my brain!
no subject
i like the sound of that is that the name of the bookstore
or is it a nickname
for miss lexi howard
hello brain of luz:
do you have any recs for good books
with a Great Romance in them
other stuff is fine too
no subject
Heh, no, I'm just calling her my girlfriend! The store's name is actually "The Satellite of Love," after an old show our parents used to watch making fun of bad movies!
I do like calling her my girlfriend though!
Hmm. Well, I think that depends. Everyone's idea of romance is a little bit different, and how they get it also varies from one person to another. What sort of stories do you like reading about?
no subject
its a cute name
idk what my idea is yet. i mean ive got a lot of ideas but id like to read about more
im also not even sure what i like yet
its been a long time since i had the chance to read anything
i dont even know whats out there
im like omni show me books
and then its way too much
so omni show me books about romance
and then the images all look the same so i am doing this wrong
i did find one that looked cool
okay two
and one was about a dragon
i think i like stories about interesting people
maybe who arent what you expect them to be
fightings good too but
maybe some stuff with happy endings
for once
i dont kind a bad ending id just rather not right now, you know?
no subject
I like it too!
There are a lot of things you can read, that's why I ask. I don't want to recommend you something you think is lame. You are a very cool person and I want to make sure I get your liking right.
I mean. What do you consider "romance?" Some people like the typical boy/girl dynamic with the guy's bulging muscles overtaking the girl's heaving bosom and all of that. Some people like the same, but less descriptive. Some aren't caught up on the gender dynamic. Heck, SOME people don't even want the typical touchy feely romance, just genuine emotions of love without the need for the acceptable ideas of public displays of affection! There's so many things you can go for!
Ooh, dragons! Always a plus!
Oh, I get you. You want a protagonist who aren't some pre-destined ideas of a hero! I can give you some good recs there!
No, no, I get it. We have plenty of bad ending here.
no subject
here is the part where i am trying out this new thing
being charitable
and i dont say something really petty
a joke at someone else's expense
only this is me being a better person and not making it
still trying
ok i think i got it
bulging muscles are fine ??? i guess but so is everything else you mentioned
but maybe not a whole book of that
idc about the gender at all but ladies would be cool
and yeah good point about all of that now im thinking about
well
all of that
and its all good in different ways
i am probably not helping here but yeah hit me with some cool protagonists
yeah you said it
ill say it again
no subject
Sure, sure! And much appreciated, by the way! I want to make sure that I totally get you when you tell me what you need!
So you have a pretty open idea about what you want. Ok. I think I can work with that!
[OOC: So I'm going to leave this part up to you on what Luz recommends, otherwise I'd be here all day! However, Luz IS going to make a few stand out recommends. She'll throw in "Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, mention a few manga because of course she would, throw in the Percy Jackson series, a few thrillers like Dracula, and she will also throw in Sunstone, a BDSM graphic collection Luz absolutely should not have read but did, and while blushing like a crazy person, still found the relationships and conversations compelling and a better alternative to Fifty Shades].
