Last month, I had the unfortunate issue of losing control of my vampiric nature and lashed out onto a number of people here. I hope you would be willing to accept my apology and if not, direct me in ways where I can make amends. I . . . do not usually need or require blood as sustenance so it took me by surprise.

My apologies. If it helps, it seems I've lost my sense of taste. Perhaps that is penance in a way.

So, I can handle putting gauze on my shoulder and taking it easy for a day or two.

It's kind of a survival method in this place.
Normally, I seriously doubt most of the folks in Trench would forgive all of this crap?
But when you're stuck in this place together, it's do that, or everyone kills each other.
So they pick the better alternative.

It's not a bad idea to do the apologies though.
Not everyone around here's all that reasonable, and sometimes things get really bad to start.
But you? That was just a little blood.

Yeah, it's pretty much the right thing to do.
Hopefully nobody's giving you too much of a hassle about this, and you didn't go too far.

Even if we can be real blase about dying around here? Yeah.
It's always better when it doesn't go quite that far, and there's no literal blood on your hands.
Just remember next time might not be so lucky, but folks will probably still forgive.
