[ Cue one young girl who looks to be about ten or eleven appearing, she looks curious. There is a full-grown phoenix sitting upon her shoulder. ]
Hello, everyone. My name is Hotaru Tomoe.
I was wondering if anyone else here played a musical instrument. My mama Michiru has been teaching me the violin and it came here with me. So I was curious if anyone else had one too, and if you wanted to play with me sometime.
[ The phoenix makes a trilling sound. ]
My other inquiry was if anyone had any music that they would like added to the Entertainment Feed. I've already been adding everything I know how to play, and wouldn't mind learning more for everyone to enjoy. It's okay if I've never heard the song before, I'll learn how to play it! A lot of what I know is classical and anything from Earth's 1990s and before.
[ Hotaru looks excited over that idea, learning to play songs. ]
Lastly, I want to know if anyone would like to learn how to play the violin. If there were enough people for me to give lessons to as a small job when I'm not helping out with my friend's businesses. I know teachers for music tend to be older, but I'm very good, I promise.

[ an adolescent himself but just a little older than her, falco waves at the girl. his omen joins in on his shoulder, too— a pygmy falcon, so she is nowhere close to the size of a phoenix. now, this too some consideration, but . . . he wants to try. he wants to try a lot of new things, lately! ]
I think I'd want to try. I just don't have . . . Any background with music. Is that okay?

It's okay. So long as you want to learn, then I'm willing to teach you.

Hello. I don't think I've seen you around... Are you new here?
I play a couple things, too. Guitar, piano... sometimes drums. I don't think I've heard of the Entertainment Feed yet, though. Is it a place people can hang out?
no subject
I've been here since the beginning of August. Mostly just settling in and spending time with my friends.
Playing multiple instruments must be fun. It is a place you can hang out. It's over in Cellar Door. There's more than just music there, too.

[It's a lot of the Undertale OST, won't lie.]
And I've never learned the violin. Is it similar to the piano?
no subject
[ A duet once she's learned the songs. ]
Hm, obviously the positioning of your body is different and the way your hands will move. I've heard that a violin can do a lot of what a piano can, though it's more difficult since the instruments aren't laid out the same way.

Oh, I can play the high harp. I have wanted to start playing again, only I don't know how to read the songs they have written down here. Do you think you could teach me? I could pay you in bloodstone, or make you whatever you like.
no subject
I can teach you how to read music, that's not a problem. Are the songs written by the natives or Sleepers?

What is your favorite sort of music?
no subject
Hm, I don't have any particular favorites. Or I guess I should say, it changes all the time. Depending on my mood.

I'd love to play with my school band once I'm old enough. I think I've heard of klezmer, but haven't ever really listened to any yet.

I can play the guqin, but I don't currently have an instrument. If someone with free time to check the archives and market happened to find one, I'd be happy to play for them.
[Attached image: photo of a long, carved board with seven strings attached to the top.]
text;
Oh yes, it does look like a koto with less strings. Someone mentioned their husband plays it.
I will probably start to look for some kind of music shop, and what they might sell or could have made. If I find one that sells one, I'll be sure to let you know.
[ She sends him an image of the instrument in return. ]
