— We weren't allowed up there, y'know. But I snuck up there a few times. The Enforcers would sometimes come down to visit us whenever they felt we were out of line. A lotta times were false accusations but... not like they cared from right or wrong. My people wanted to fight back 'cuz they were tired of being pushed around by the Topsiders. (...) Shimmer gets a bad rep and all but the truth is as someone who has it in their bloodstream, it's fuckin' amazing. I feel so... powerful and invincible. Like I can do everythin' and anythin' I want without gettin' held back.

Anyway, I nabbed the stone from the academy 'cuz it'll help Silco's vision. Built the weapon, inserted the crystal, and... KA-BOOM. ... I show 'em all. Just like he promised.
