Not because he needs to flinch away from any of this, but because the detailed description is something he can so perfectly picture in his mind, and he sinks into it for awhile, the imagery. He knows the innermost workings of flesh, and he knows how to manipulate and destroy it. How to torment it. It isn't something he's meant to do, but oh, he knows how.

If you want to be some sort of knight templar protecting the weak and the abused, that's not my concern. But I don't need someone poking their nose where it doesn't belong. This kind of offer always comes with a steep price, and I've paid more than my fair share already.
