( This is not Peter Graham, though of course, posting anonymously takes away that possibility. The user didn't want to use the boy's network handle, to inevitably be seen through the filter of "Not Peter."
The user is trying to define his own identity. )
why did you choose your title here on this THING
what is the meaning
?
?
( ...Texting is still something he struggles with, though the demon has been watching and learning and forming his own conclusions on how to do it. Autocorrect is a life-saver. Two questions get two question marks. ....Even if they go in the wrong place. )
i will grant you a
GOLDEN COIN
if you
RESPOND
( ...For those who know Paimon fairly well, that particular offer of exchange might betray who he is. But the demon of Knowledge is curious to hear reasons, and within them: perhaps stories, memories, self-perceptions. There is a meaning to everything, whether simple or complex.
And perhaps by the end of it, he will know what title he would give himself, here on the network. )

It depends on the context, I think. The situation. I know there's been plenty of times where I've perceived your energy and it's often been in different ways, depending on how you were at the time.
You can be loud, discordant, cacophonous. Overwhelming, perhaps. When you tried to possess me in Deerington, it felt like the surface of the sun. Something intense. It burns, it's painful.
But... you also feel powerful in the way that something old is. Like the ancient magics, something that's hard to really put into words. You can be dazzling in a way that doesn't hurt, or glittering perhaps. Maybe even incandescent would be a good word. Something that isn't painful even if it's an energy that is very powerful.
If that helps?

( He'll be delighted to teach Luna about "thumbs"....! But he waits patiently for her response, and when it comes... it comes with a mixture of feelings.
Something that burns, painful — being reminded of that time, the damages he'd done to her. And it wasn't even to its fullest extent, most likely. Perhaps close. If Luna had been a typical human, not a witch endowed with more capability, it might have done... some irreparable damage. And Paimon knows that Peter fears perhaps it did.
He stays quiet for a long time too, absorbing all of her words. The other descriptions, things that aren't painful. And it's those specific words that he was searching for, put into a shape by her. It's exactly what he was seeking when he asked her the question. Luna will probably hear some of those flashes of excitement through the tether between her and Peter, bursts of feeling formed into sound. )
yes it helps very much
i under stand
i am very pleased
i believe i can try to make my own TITLE here now
so that i am no longer pretending to be graham crackers

She knows the first part of what she says isn't very... pleasant to hear. Luna figures it's a balanced view. Paimon can be too much, even for her at times. But she absolutely does note the little flashes of excitement from him on the other half of what she says. Maybe it's more of what he wants to be, than what he is. ]
That's good! I'm very happy for you.
It's probably best to have your own one, really. It might save a lot of confusion, and well... yes, you shouldn't be pretending that you're 'graham crackers'.
