( This is not Peter Graham, though of course, posting anonymously takes away that possibility. The user didn't want to use the boy's network handle, to inevitably be seen through the filter of "Not Peter."
The user is trying to define his own identity. )
why did you choose your title here on this THING
what is the meaning
?
?
( ...Texting is still something he struggles with, though the demon has been watching and learning and forming his own conclusions on how to do it. Autocorrect is a life-saver. Two questions get two question marks. ....Even if they go in the wrong place. )
i will grant you a
GOLDEN COIN
if you
RESPOND
( ...For those who know Paimon fairly well, that particular offer of exchange might betray who he is. But the demon of Knowledge is curious to hear reasons, and within them: perhaps stories, memories, self-perceptions. There is a meaning to everything, whether simple or complex.
And perhaps by the end of it, he will know what title he would give himself, here on the network. )

But he will try.... Exchanging Knowledge with this stranger is important. ...Even if she's not technically a stranger, unbeknownst to either of them. )
the white is like cream
the red is like blood
( Hmmm.... that's.... )
not in taste but in
feeling
( He means like, texture, but this is... fine. Cream and blood, great ways to describe the difference. But oh.. he gets very excited when she says that. He knows to captialise things that are important, so— )
I LIKE GOLD
what is yyyy

The demon lord... isn't used to that. Somewhere in his spirit is the memory of humans coming to him for great riches and treasures, and there has been no... reluctance in them for it; that is why they seek him out, after all. Why they call upon him, summon him through giving him great offerings.
But this person... outright says that they would rather have a food item instead of gold. There is upset or distaste there; even Paimon can read as much, what's said in their words. People using gold, fighting for it, dying for it... an imbalance with some having too much and some having nothing.
He is quiet for a very long time. Thinking. )
it is true that humans can
abuse it ( He had to find the word, and it's one that someone else used once. 'They abused you, your power. Took too much. Wanted what you could offer.'
It's.... strangely uncomfortable to think that he may have granted treasure to humans who then hoarded it. Who did not share. It really isn't anything to do with him, what his summoners do with the treasures he grants them, but..... he is thinking of it now. How odd. )
the ones you have known
who sit on piles of it
they are humans
?
no subject
they like to think they are
human but they sure dont care
about humanity
or anything else but themselves
ignorant at best
at worst
worse than the beasts here
the beasts dont have a choice you know?
