lots of things

tho i gotta say that theres a lot of ppl younger than me i admire too

but lets go with people that are straight shooters and dont mince words
they just say whats on their mind because they mean it
and they keep their word when they give it
and if they dont theres a damn good reason

they speak up when shits not good and they try to make things better
to protect their friends and even the people that might hate them
toss out the petty shit to try and make some better shit

ppl that give chances maybe even when they shouldnt but somehow they still have hope that not everyone sucks

when theyre willing to teach you stuff without making u feel dumb about it

Many of the people I admire most in the universe are younger than I; conversely, some of those I hold in the lowest esteem are greatly my elders. I did not mean to imply that respect might only go towards those older than oneself.

im the first one rushing in without thinking and sometimes thinking first would save a lot of headache later

and worse ive put other people at risk

She does not have the capacity to aid me now in this, but if I understand your meaning more broadly: I have told her directly that I am at her disposal, and committed to her aid in all things.

She was less than pleased. It was an understandable reaction.

I cannot say what that balance is. I imagine it varies from person to person, and circumstance to circumstance. There are those I would suffer nearly any insult from, any indignity, if I were only able to offer them the slightest aid in an hour of want…and those who I would do nothing for, regardless of their need.
