Erring on the side of caution was always wise. ]
Have you tried looking up 'sign language'? Without more information, I'm not sure how else to help.

I should hope fervently that my condition will not persist long enough to require learning a new language.

If you wanted the appearance of bones as a design on gloves or gloves specifically for skeletons though that is probably the realm of someone who sews.

[As fond of skeletons as his Lady is, Ortus has some reservations over the lady of the Ninth having, once again, two cavaliers not amongst the technically living.]
How do you fare?

Discussion of alternatives to focusing on breathing for meditation.
Meditating without meditating
For writing, it should be pretty easy. We just need a ball that fits in your hand and make it hold a pen or pencil. Like this:

I am not accustomed to the usage of devices such as these, if that fact has not made itself patently obvious to all.

Before you can adapt to living the life of a skeleton, you must assume a name. A font name. Examples include: Papyrus, Sans, Wing Dings, Aster.
Choose wisely.

I don't think I use any special hand gestures. Maybe a hand on their shoulder to be supportive?
Meditation isn't any different without lungs. Controlling your breathing is only one method. You could set up a metronome.
Did any of that help?
no subject
Would a skeletal hand hold the same comfort, due to its rigid and chill nature?
A metronome is an excellent idea. I believe there may be one still somewhere about the piano. Thank you. That is most helpful.

If you do decide to learn a sign language, I'd be happy to join you. I have family in the other multiversal nexus I was for a while, that's, um, effectively mute. We communicated mostly with empathy, but I wanted another choices on the table, and I started to learn, but then I got dragged here, so.

I begin to think there may be a call for general classes given this is a more common barrier than I thought. How far did your lessons progress?

Touchpad issues? Pencils not sturdy enough? Wanting to write on bone?
No one thinks about the trouble literal boney fingers have for writing.
no subject
I had not thought of the struggle that a skeleton might face in writing, and it seems that few others have as well. I have been fortunate to receive much in the way of help on this question.
But it is only the first part of my predicament. The second part (conveying my feelings and intent) is more troublesome.

And that's saying something, given the general quality of posts being put up on here. ]
You could go up to a young adult and ask them what's hip and happening in the world of supportive hand gestures.
[ Poor Ortus, please don't follow that advice.. ]
no subject
Alas, if I could, I would do so. I am currently beset with difficulties barring such an approach.
But when they resolve, how, precisely, should I phrase my query? "How do you do, fellow youth?"
