Would a skeletal hand hold the same comfort, due to its rigid and chill nature?
A metronome is an excellent idea. I believe there may be one still somewhere about the piano. Thank you. That is most helpful.

I'm not very good at meditating so I've had a lot of practice with different methods.
no subject
What is it to be 'good' at meditating?
no subject
I guess being able to do it in the first place. Or even enjoying it.
no subject
I do not think I am good at meditating either, if these are the criteria. It only sometimes assists me in finding calm. I have often struggled with focused contemplation. I am a 'day dreamer', colloquially. It is a failing.

I don't like sitting still with nothing to do. [Or being left alone with his thoughts.] We can both be failures.
no subject
There is something to fellowship in failure. Perhaps we should devote ourselves to other, more practical endeavours.

I like building things?
no subject
What do you like to build?
no subject
[He's typed that without a shred of irony that he literally did that.]
Stuff. I'm good with machines. I built a droid when I was a kid.

A person unarmed is not the same as a person who is not dangerous.
That is a type of mechanical clockwork being, is it not? You must have been a clever child.
no subject
Not particularly. I started my education late so I spent a lot of time trying to catch up.
no subject
I would think that would make your achievement more impressive, not less.
no subject
Only if I did catch up. Which I'd argue I didn't.

I do not know the standards of your world by which you may be measured. Do you feel yourself lacking in some way, if this is so?
no subject
Sometimes.

Let me be plain: if you seek to deter me with terrible acts and deficiencies, you will not succeed. I am inoculated against such declarations by long familiarity.

In my experience, those who are truly vile, who mean nothing but harm, they do not warn others as you do.
But that is only the thought of one stranger. Take it as you will.
