 [ it's not as if Kylo uses the device much; mostly to have an occasional look at whatever pointless dribble that other dreamers are spouting off. usually, he finds it grating. whatever the reason, it's conveniently located in a place where when it begins recording one gets a good look at the owner.

one might not recognize where he's at, secluded enough not to be bothered if the surrounding trees have anything to do with it. Kylo is currently wielding a rather ferocious looking lightsaber, dressed in simple black sleeveless top and pants. From the sweat on his brow, he's been at it for a while. After a brief moment of fighting his imaginary enemy, he runs a hand through his hair and pulls his top over his head revealing a thick, scar covered torso.

The top is flung to the side as he picks up his saber in hand again. He spins the hilt deftly, activating it in midair before taking a wide fighting stance. 

Again. If one has never seen Kylo fight before it's chaotic. His movements might be strong and backed by brute force, there is a grace to him. This goes on for a few minutes, until ... 

... a tree topples to the ground. And a second and a third. Embers spark on the trunks of the fallen trees. Four in a circle, directly around him. Kylo glances around, breathing deeply and pushing his hair back, kicking a trunk out of the way with a booted foot. Muttering, he deactivates his blade. He doesn't give the device even a glance, simply walking away. ]

[ Oh, uh... oh. That was an eye full, and for a moment, Luke is struck completely dumb, trying to find something appropriate to say that wouldn't lead to unfair accusations, while wondering just which side of the family his nephew got that from. He entertained the thought of maybe him and Leia should have been fighting for Han's attention instead of the other way around, before he finally settled on something to say. ]

As your uncle, I feel it's best I let you know you've just sent everyone in Trench running for a glass of cold water.

[ it kind of just goes to show, he walked away to cool off, dip in a lake or something - and returned to a message.

He puts things together fairly quickly. ]

I'm not responsible for something that they weren't meant to see in the first place.

I suppose that's fair, considering multiple people seem to be having trouble with their omnis.

[ Or Kylo's Omen recognized a good thing to share when it saw it? He wasn't going to think too hard on it. ]

[ He hesitated a moment, trying to think of something to say. ]

Have you... have you been well?

[ Nailed it. ]

[ This is a scene she's familiar with. She'd caught glimpses of him training a few times through the Force, and glimpses of him angry and killing things. At least this time it was just trees. The shirtlessness never gets easier to adjust to, however. Clearing her throat loudly she attempts to private message him. ]

Do you ever keep your shirt on?

[ like before, Kylo doesn't make any move to cover himself up. ]

Only when I'm not talking to you, it seems.

[ Rey looks away from the screen, the flush on her face less to do with annoyance and more to do with his words. ]

If I didn't know better I'd think you were trying to get my attention.

[She's really not sure what tho make of Kylo Ren after learning certain details he left out. But she knows what to make of that lightsaber.]

Do you need help fixing that emitter?

[She's not discussing his shirt or lack thereof]

[ Kylo stares.

And stares.

It's a good long minute before he turns on his device to snap out a reply, obviously annoyed. And offended on behalf of his emitter. ]

Oh, you have everything you need for it already?

[Obviously he wants to fix it before it gives out at the wrong moment and someone loses an arm, right?]

[Usagi watches the whole thing with mostly disinterest as she sees a lot of fighting, especially Force fighting in Trench. Instead, she merely asks:]

Are you going to grow BACK those trees now? [Why does everyone insist on knocking down or attacking trees? What did the trees do to them?]

It wasn't on my to do list, no. [ you can't grow much in space, so he's fairly sure he doesn't know how, even if he wanted to. which he doesn't. ]

No. Until only a few moments ago I wasn't even aware that I was putting on a performance for anyone.

[ but maybe since it did go public, there's one someone he happened to hope would see it. ]

[Well now. This is certainly an unexpected sight that has graced his Omni today. An unexpected sight, but by no means an unwelcome one.]

Nice form. [It should be obvious he's not just talking about Kylo's fighting style.]

Would've been a better show if those were creatures and not trees, though.

Wasn't really aiming to put on a show. Just practice. [ Kylo isn't oblivious, he's just not rising to it. ]

I haven't seen any kinds of creatures that are in need of killing.

Interesting saber design. You ever use the smaller blades in the cross guard in combat, or are they like that because you thought it looked cool?

They have actual use beyond appearances. Circumventing power from the source and to keep the main blade from becoming unstable. Blocking and knocking back attackers.
