or go tell your friends
and send them to fight me
and then you can pay me if I win

I like it. Like your a final boss in some video game.

exactly
[ Tuck has no idea what she is talking about. ]
I mean im not that far in the woods
like on the edge
[ In fact he can see a Trenchie walking down the cobblestone street nearby. Tuck waves at the man, shouting out an awkward "Hello," that only inspires the stranger to walk away faster. ]

[The one time she actually can use a joke like that and it didn't even work. Is she surprised? No. This is why she doesn't play video games.]
Not as death-defyingly exciting that way, but still down for it.
Be there in fifteen.

[ Tuck remains where he said he would be. In the cold and rather quiet winter air, the barbarian is wearing nothing but a loincloth that he not-so-subtly unwedges from the crack of his ass. A larger-than-life battle ax, glowing with an amethyst light, is strapped to his back, along with a bass lute.
He looks like a kid waiting awkwardly for his date to finally arrive, hands patting against his bare thighs idly. ]

No way she wants anything thinking she's that eager for a fight, right? Right. But she does have the thick metal pole she uses for practice, just in case. She's a muscular but slender 6'2" and this guy still towers over her. Yeah, she's really up for this fight.]
Hey. [Her grin is kind of crooked.] You the guy looking for a fight?
no subject
Hey, ah, yep. That's me. Fight guy.
[ Ah shit, no it's not. Too late now! They are already too far into introductions. ]
So, uh, do you... do you need to sign a waiver or anything for this? Do your parents know you're out here with a strange man?

I don't know whether to be offended or amused. Usually people think I'm like ten years older than I am. Still not young enough to need a permission slip.
[She spins the pole in her left hand, a light squeak ringing out as the metal of her prosthetic scrapes the steel of the pole.]
Weapons, yes or no?
no subject
Why, because you're really tall for a girl? [ Blunter than anyone would probably like, but Tuck isn't good with finesse. He calls 'em like he sees 'em. ] I mean, I guess.
[ To him, though, he still has to look down at her. ]
Uhh, maybe no weapons.
[ Insulting or not, he doesn't want to accidentally cut an arm off or disfigure her over a little boredom. So Tuck pulls off his ax and lute and buries the former into a large stone trapped under the roots of an old tree. The blade goes right through it like a hot knife through butter, wedging itself nicely within. ]
Ready?

[Saeri likes blunt, appreciates the directness of it. She swaps the pole into her right hand to jab it into the ground. It'll keep it out of the way and that's all she needs. She checks her left hand, adjusting the prosthetic to make sure it doesn't come off too easily.]
What are the rules? Three pins is a win? First blood?
no subject
[ Tuck never considered rules. ]
First blood? Okay? Here we go??
[ Tuck doesn't do much to size up or ready himself. He sort of puts up his big meaty hands in wait. ]
no subject
Yeah. Go. [She watches the stance he's settled into, trying to get a feel of how his body moves. Is he faster than he looks? All power, no agility? She's no weakling, but she's not the strongest around either. Gonna have to focus on speed at first. And so she moves in fast, not going in for a direct strike, but more of a light tap on the side of his arm to see what he's got.]
no subject
Ow! Are you trying to slap my fat?
no subject
Just seeing if you're as fluffy as you look.
[And she moves back in again, this time spinning around behind him for a jab to the back. See how he handles that.]

I'm not gonna be good for you to fight, but I can give you something that's not boring. So, sure. I'll be a punk if you want me to.
