With a lot of the city shut down because of the snow, if there's anyone having trouble finding food or shelter, Sanctuary in Crenshaw will be helping whoever it can. It might not be much, but it can be a meal or warm bed for the night. [ And hope everyone likes fish, because there's a lot of that that's been salted and stockpiled. But also a lot of baked things served with some of the corruption-cleansing jams from earlier in the year.

Which, anyone who already volunteers there... you can bet you were already cheerfully accosted and asked to help, soup kitchen style. ♥ It's a team effort. ✧ Either that or clearing snow; it's a big place... albeit warm itself this month, and shining like a jewel from the lunar lighting and heating within. The renovated Moon Presence monastery seems to be taking the blindingly bright bone moon and reflecting it back in a gentler manner for anyone inside. ]

There isn't a cost. Just try to help out however you can when you're able.

[ He pauses, about to leave it at that but hesitating. Expression still neutrally polite and composed, but... flickering for a moment. ]

...if anyone would like to help closer to when Christmas would normally be, it'd be nice to do something special for the orphanage as well. Maybe donate some presents for them.

[sansa has been busy sewing woolen cloaks and smallclothes as well as scrouging up enough fur and sheepskin stoles for everyone, when she hasn't been buying and freezing meat for the wolves or delivering cartloads of mushrooms and cheeses to the sanctuary along with the painted turtle clinic and even the roost.

she may have heard of christmas in passing, but she hasn't actually looked into it yet. she wears a black woolen dress thickly embroidered with ravens and feathers, and her braids pinned back into a small bun. lady has a matching collar. the other dogs are likely at the sanctuary under s'mores' supervision.

the direwolf sigil on the tapestry behind her couch has mysteriously acquired antlers this month. sansa peers up from the heavy woolen sewing project in her lap.]

I don't know very much about Christmas. What sort of presents would they like? We should have enough cloaks for all the children, but I don't think we should wait very long to give them their winter things.

Thank you, that's very kind. Sanctuary exists for that purpose, to try and save people that might be considered too far gone otherwise. So anything that helps with corruption and beasthood would be incredible.

[ In all seriousness: ] With everything going on, I'm a little worried about making sure people are able to get to and from safe locations between the snow making it a problem and it making them easier targets for beasts that have turned or monsters. Most people are going to consider that though, and the other side of it...

If most people have to stay essentially trapped inside, it's not good for their own mentality. Especially if they're alone, we could see more becoming beasts before anyone else realizes it— or their whole family is in danger then.

[ He says it very calmly and gently, but with a sobering gravity as well. Someone used to having to consider how the natural feelings of people could quickly spiral into actual danger and the birth of monsters. Compassion and empathy while keeping a clear head. ]

It might be a good idea for us to start making house calls on people we know from patrol or have helped before to make sure they're doing alright.
