[ confetti is absolute best boy. falco turns the screen around and whistles, and not long after, a large, ovoid feathery creature appears in an angelic hover toward him. it greets the camera with a sing-song cry, fluttering the tips of his still wings. hello! ]

[Sunny's mouth hangs open in surprise for a second or two. He's literally never seen anything like Confetti before.]

Hello. [A pause.] How are you doing today?

[grice]

[ confetti flutters up a great shrill that feels like a song, looping through the air he gently hovers in. he seemed joyous and happy to introduce himself. ]

He can’t talk like Perle can, but I’m sure he understands.

[ and he’s talking back in his own way! ]

I wish I knew what he was saying.

[Though at least Sunny could understand the general tone of the cries. That would be enough.]

It's nice to meet you. I'm Sunny. [A pause.] What's his name?

[grice]

It’s “Confetti”. You might see him floating around sometime.

[good_mourning]

That's a good name.

[Sunny very much likes it and thinks it suits him.]

For reference if I see him around, does he like to be pet? [Important question.]

[grice]

[ oh, this could use a demo— to which falco stroke the feather crown on confetti’s head, and that just gets to most exuberant twirl! ]

You’ll just have to be prepared for him to ask for—[ confetti bumps!! his hand!!! ] More.

[This is absolutely delightful. Sunny has a sparkle in his eyes as he watches it.]

Him asking for more is a sacrifice I am willing to make.
