i've been around to a few parts of the city looking for something to eat and it's all total garbo
it's so bunk
maybe there's some part of the city that has good stuff? maybe some super secret spot for cool people only
i don't know, people are saying stuff about blood pollution and i'm not going to pretend i know how this world works because it sounds complicated and i've been here for like five minutes

the dirt around our house has plenty of big ass white flowers growing out of it. I've never seen the flowers before, but clearly they do well in this area if you wanna swing on by and see if the dirt's good

my greenhouse is also here? which is kind of fucking wild but it's in the backyard perfectly in tact. there's a bunch of good dirt in that sucker. all the plants are still thriving.

my family lived in a small farming village. we raised livestock so i don't know a lot about plants, but we'd sometimes would give the leftover bits of fish to the families who grew seaweed

i think they used other stuff to make the fertilizer, too, but i know they definitely used fish in the mix

I was a little concerned. The soil isn't edge deep like in October, but it's not very high quality. A lot of what grows seems unhealthy or fungal. Do you have solutions in the short term?

We could look into some form of soil purification for you. Make sure that you have a patch of safe, covered soil that is available. But it might take time. I don't know what resources we have.

Varian has made me some plant alchemy biz before that'll help
none of it replaces all of the ground being ok but it's better than nothing you know?

It's not much, but do you need more of that fertilizer mix I made you in the spring? The place I'm at is kind of a Mess.

I haven't had much chance to check out the garden options here yet. Most of my gardens got destroyed when the old house was, but there's still some of my window garden herbs. It's not a lot of dirt, but there's a pot or two to spare.

How can I tell if dirt is any good?

I know this probably makes me sound like a toddler. I've just never done any sort of gardening.

i got my roots so i can absorb the stuff in the dirt, that's how i can tell if it's good or bad

Nitrogen, phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium are the main macronutrients that you need, right?

My spinner has equipment that can be calibrated to detect the presence of these in the ground, so I should be able to easily find any good places for you. If there are any.

Yeah it doesn't seem like the nutrients are really that great. For a real garden we might have to try compositing or using natural fertilizers.

Put I do still have some potting soil that came over with the house if you need some.

Varian makes an alchemical plant solution for me that works really well but i don't want him spending all his time keeping me alive
