( if you catch this video fast enough when it starts, the viewer will see a feminine hand coming to view. but that hand quickly ducks down off screen and all the video shows now is an open living room. alright, this seems odd and rather boring.

that is until, suddenly a rocket launcher shark comes into the viewing. whoa! it's pretty huge. it's all in the camera but whoever is controlling it is trying to inch it perfectly. once that's done, the jaw of this weapon starts to move and out comes out a goofy voice someone is providing for it.)

❝Hello everyone! I hope I didn't surprise or scare anyone with my appearance! I've been meaning to chat with you all for a very long time but... ❞

( a little pause as the head looks down to the floor. )

( Unsurprisingly, the display definitely unnerves Peter, and yet here he is turning on his video to reply. There's a few reasons for it, and maybe the main one is that he feels the need to check on Jinx. It all seems playful enough, but.... it wouldn't be the first time someone he knew used an inanimate object to communicate through. )

Hey uh, Fishbones? Is that your name...? ( A beat. ) You belong to Jinx?

( the rocket launcher rocks back and forth (which makes one wonder how in the hell can a tiny girl like jinx can hold up such a massive weapon. how? video game logic, that's how) to indicate he is pretty happy. )

❝ Yep, that's my name! And yes, I belong to Jinx! How did you know? ❞

( besides the obvious voice she is displaying for him. )

( There is definitely no thought in Peter to call her out about any of this, and instead to just play along with it. So Peter does, addressing the mechanical-looking shark directly. And opting not to say that he can hear the girl speaking for him. )

Oh — I recognise her treehouse from the video. I've been there before. ( SLIGHTLY AWKWARD... )

Thanks. And that's really cool — that she makes things out of scraps. My little sister used to build dolls out of all kinds of scraps, too. Kind of like you, just a lot smaller.

[The feed opens up to a candle lit living room with rose petals scattered around the room. There's smooth jazz playing in the background. And that's when Fish Bone's will see it. Laying across the couch is a very complex looking scythe that's doubles as a sniper rifle.

The camera does a slow zoom in on the scythe as it drapes itself over the couch.

It says nothing. Is it playing hard to get? Or is it in inanimate object.]
