[Rose looks entirely put out and her face is raised so that her nostrils are pointing at the camera. anyone who doesn't know her would think that she's looking down her nose at everyone. but...]
I've seen the post with the young lady who was tasting people. My...predicament is not quite so severe, but is anyone else seeing out of their nostrils? I must say that in my entire year here, even when I was turned into a Beast, this is my least favorite thing.
Frankly, I feel ridiculous! And I fear that I'll be feeling ridiculous all month long! As far as I'm concerned, The Moss King owes me a debt and I would very much like to collect. What's the best method of doing so? If it's even possible at all!

[ He'll use the Western order since she's like Western. ]
It's difficult to know what to do when you're suddenly seeing from the inside of your nose.
I wonder if different music would give you different colors.

[about as Western as it gets]
It is! It's not completely terrible when I'm supposed to be looking at a plate of food, but absolutely awkward when I try to see people. It's like I've turned into mother.
I'm not sure? I only listen to classical, but surely that should give better colors. It's Chopin, for goodness sake, not Wagner. I would think that Chopin would give prettier colors.

[ It's a bit harder to know if she's a miss or misses.
His chuckle carries over the audio feed. ]
I've found that neck pain is the usual punishment for those types. It doesn't look natural on you so I'm not sure if that's a relief or more embarrassing.
I don't claim to be an expert on Chopin's tastes, but maybe those colors were beautiful to him. I think Japanese music would be more pinks and purples.

Also, I see colors when music plays, I'd forgotten to include that part.
That part isn't so bad.

[He's aware that it's a blood effect, and knows how drastically different each sleeper's experience can be.]

In case it's to make me royally pissed with each side.
In which case, well done!
[she's fairly sure it's a blood effect as well, but that doesn't mean she likes it]

It gets me thinking it doesn't make much sense for pthumerians to be doing this. I wonder if it's a change at a molecular level in our blood in tandem with the moon or something like that.

That's as good of a theory as any. I'm afraid I can't yet contribute to it as I'd primarily been researching psychology, trying to figure out the why behind events as much as the how.
I'm on mobile, sorry for the miss fire
I was very intrigued with the why when I first got here, but I moved towards the how, with hopes of possibly stopping or reversing these unpleasant effects. I use to think the pthumerians were doing this in order to make life harder and corrupt sleepers. I thought maybe the earth feeds off corruption and therefore the Pthumerians as well, but I've had a few experiences contradict this theory. I'm starting to think the pthumerians may be just as much at the mercy of this world as us. They are just better equipped or more use to the Trench.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Who knows.
no worries!

Chizuru immediately frowns in sympathy before moving to reply. ]
Um, I-- I don't know if it helps, but I think I'm also one of the people dealing with this.. [ The weird sense-swapping, even if it's thankfully not seeing through her nose in her case.
It must be dreadful to just see the floor all the time.. ]
And for me, I-- I think I can sometimes shift it..? There's always something strange going on with my senses, but if I focus enough, I can shift it into being strange in a different way when it gets a little too inconvenient..
[ Sure, it doesn't get rid of the problem entirely.
But it can sure turn the strangest side effect into one that's slightly more manageable. ]

Oh? Are you a Paleblood as well?
[it's horrid, all she can see are dust bunnies and no matter how much she cleans, they seem to multiply]
...really? [she sounds intrigued] I hadn't thought to try that! Rather silly of me not to. Let's see...I don't want to see out of my eyes anymore, let that go elsewhere. And no tasting people, that's simply horrid! [it gets worse, and she says in a muffled tone of voice] My mouth! Now I can see through my mouth! This is ridiculous!
no subject
[ .. that's the risk, isn't it. ]
Y-Yes, sometimes it shifts to something more inconvenient.. [ It's not like it's fully something one can control, after all. That's the nature of these blood effects, and Chizuru knows it - but she was really hoping that it would switch to something at least a little better than this.
Still, it's not like she's unhelpful enough to just go quiet now. Chizuru spends a moment in quiet thought, but then quickly speaks up with: ]
How about if you try to force it to your fingers, if you can manage that?
[ If it just refuses to go back to Rose's eyes, anyway. ]
At least it's a little easier to aim those in the direction you want to look..?

Any word on any other weird OP shit?

I also see sounds, but only music. A friend has helped me find a composer who makes me see pinks and purples rather than olives and khaki. To think that Chopin would lead to olive and khaki! It almost seems sacrilegious.

You've got me curious. What if someone is humming a song, do you see that?
