[She isn't, but surpressing her sadness and trauma is basically how she's survived all these years, morr than a year in Trench isn't going to break that habit. She's only recently managed asking others for help.]

I... thank you for the condolences. We both knew either of us could return to the sea and even home at any point.

I have no regrets on how much we loved one another or how our time was spent... only that I wish I had more of it.
