I know it's bad, but this means a lot to me. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out in time for the festival. Thank you very much.

[Look who is super confident in her abilities! She's been patching up clothes since she was a child, so she has every right to be confident.]

Sorry I couldn't get all the stains out of this one. Maybe you know something that will work better than soap?

[ He turns the camera around onto himself. He's wearing bandages on one of his arms and a boring black shirt he bought at the nearest store for cheap. He waves a scarred hand over his side. He smiles, but it just comes off as nervous. He's no TikToker. ]

Oh don't worry about me. Patching myself up was easier than whatever it's gonna take to fix this.

(Karkat, on the other hand, remains dedicated to text form. He is not keen on "face reveals" and will avoid them for as long as possible in this godforsaken place. Humans always had these dramatic reactions to his looks and he really didn't need to dig his insecurity grave deeper.

My jumpsuit's in worse shape than me. Sorry, I should have taken your advice and not gone for a walk so soon. I didn't know the tides here could drag people all the way into the water system.

There's an old well with a long drop and a Quirk-cancelling aura. Watch out for the monster hiding in it. She just looks like a junior high schooler, but dead, and pretty strong.

[ Some of his usual energy leaves his face as it sobers. ]

Everything you said is true. It's dangerous here. If it hadn't been me... If it had been just an ordinary civilian... At least one person has already died down there, a while ago.

[ Surprise flickers across the dual-colored eyes easing some of his worries. It's in the subtlety of his mouth, the strain from moments before tapering off. ]

[ No other water system comes to mind. It's only been a month and his exploration of Trench is far from complete. Fortunately, Midoriya explains his meaning leaving the youngest Todoroki confused. ]

I didn't know there was a place like that here.

[ Quirk-canceling? Monster? The fact that he's in one piece without so much as a scratch dampens his initial fears. Midoriya, like the rest of their classmates, is a hero-in-training. Encountering obstacles like a monster in a cave isn't far-fetched in their chosen studies. They've trained for emergency situations like this with and without their quirks, though the encounter with the 'dead student' seems unique to Trench. That part of the story leaves him more disturbed than the fact that his friend got dragged into a well. ]
