[Having only just learned how to use video on the omni, Goku's feed is a bit shaken and choppy. He's really only half visible for most of it, kind of stepping out of frame every so often because he's clearly walking. You might see some of the rolls of bread he's carrying.]

Hi ev'rybody! My name's Goku, an' my friends said that I should talk to th' network if I need help with stuff, soooo... Do we have any healers around here?? 'Cause my friend's ankle is broken but he can't heal himself 'cause it don't work like that or somethin', so I was hopin' somebody else could help him??

Oh yeah, m'also goin' around deliverin' bread for him! So if Hakkai toldja that bread's on th' way over, that's me! Goku!

I don't know any healers personally, but you can probably find someone to help you in Lumenwood. I've found people there.

Uwahh! Really?? Wheresat?? Is it far from, uh--

[Goku pauses. Flounders for a second. What is this town area called again?]

...th' town?

[Nailed it.]

[Oh. Oh no. Keith knew where it was and how to get there, yes. That wasn't the issue. It was telling someone else who clearly didn't have a full grasp on the rest of the city yet that was going to be the problem.]

Uh... Well...

[He frowned a bit. He couldn't even recommend the lamps because you had to have been there once already to use them for that.]

You don't know where you are now?

Mmmm...

[Goku stops walking and starts looking around instead, squinting at the buildings around him.]

Well, I went past where all th' food stalls are... An' then Hakkai said I'm s'pos'd ta turn this way an' then that way- [He points in the appropriate directions as he says them.] -ta get to th' Wellness Center place... An' so I did that... M'not there yet, but that's where I'm goin'! Does that help??

[Can you tell he's still new around here yet.]

Wellness Center...? You meant the Lumenarium?

[Keith was confused.]

[Welcome to the club, Keith. Goku's confused too!]

Uh... I dunno? Hakkai just said "Wellness Center." See?

[He holds up a piece of paper to the camera that has directions written on it in neat handwriting. And then the name of his destination: "Lady Sakura's Wellness Center for the Sanctuary." That's all Goku really has to go on.]

[Keith moved his omni to get a better look, staring at the image for a moment, and then-]

Oh! Sakura's place! [Yeah. He knew that place.]

Okay, so... I know where that is. Once you get there, I can tell you how to get to Lumenwood.

[And now that you've stopped to stare into the omni for a second, Goku's also getting a good opportunity to look at you. His eyes get nice and big and round.]

Whoooaaa... Issat a scar on your face?? It looks super cool!!

[Distraction: Get.

What were they talking about again?]

[Keith looked confused at how quickly the topic had changed. Give him a second to catch up there, Goku. Okay...]

Uh, yeah... yeah, it is.

[Honestly, for something that was as noticeable as his scar, Keith was surprised not more people asked him about it.]

[To be fair, Goku is very easily distracted. He'll probably circle back around to the wellness center thing later. ...probably.]

It looks real cool! My friend has scars kinda like that but they're on the other side of his face. Didja get that in a big fight??

[No judgment here. Only excitement! Scars from battle are awesome!]

[Judgement or no, it was something Keith hadn't talked about much. Maybe it was a good thing most people didn't ask. He wasn't good at coping with things, tending to push them aside and trying to forget about them instead. And, yet, he's being asked directly about it now, and he didn't know how to respond. The emotions hit him hard, and Keith sort of went numb.]

Uh, yeah... it was a big fight.

[Against some evil doppelganger of his best friend, his brother, his mentor... one of the most important people in his life. And they'd almost killed each other. It was a lot to process.]

[Oblivious to any of that, Goku just powers through with his questions, eyes shining.]

That must mean you're pretty strong, huh?? Are you strong???

I guess? [Keith shrugged. He'd never thought about it before. He tried to be strong in a lot of different ways, but he wasn't sure if he was strong, per se.] I mean, I've fought a lot. [He had other scars, too, but none of them were visible when he was in his normal clothes.]

[Those big gold eyes are somehow even bigger and shinier now, just from pure excitement.]

Can I see?! I've seen lotsa different people fight in a buncha different ways an' it's so cool!! You wanna spar?? Can we spar?!?

[A lot of this is just plain Goku, but there's definitely some of that coldblooded need to go go go in there as well...]

[Can he see? Keith was mildly confused for a second, thinking this kid wanted him to do like a demonstration on the video or something, but then... oh. Sparring. Okay. That he could do.]

Yeah. We can do that some time.

[It didn't hurt to have the practice and see someone else's style, after all.]

[He's absolutely beaming at this point.]

Awesome!! Can we go now--

[He stops himself abruptly, remembering what he's doing and looking a little crestfallen for it.] Oh... I guess we can't go now. I still gotta go to that place to give 'em Hakkai's bread.

Yeah. That.

[Keith sounded amused now, the dragging up of the trauma around his scar momentarily forgotten again.]

Let me know when you get there, and then I can direct you to Lumenwood. Though, if Hakkai's already at the Wellness Center, he's probably already in good hands for healing.

[Maybe better than Lumenwood. Some of the stuff that happened over there in the name of "healing" was... well, kind of creepy.]

[He brightens all over again.] 'Kay!!

That's not where Hakkai is, though. He's back home restin'. That's why he said I should go an' deliver th' bread he made!

[Back to walking it is!]

Is Loomin' Wood like th' hospital? I thought Daniel called it somethin' else...

[Of course. Right... Okay.]

Ah, yeah. Um. Well, Lumenwood is the neighborhood, but the actual place is the Luminarium.

But, uh... yeah. Where's... 'home'... then? 'Cuz I would have to give you directions from there instead.

Yeah! That's what he called it! Th' Loomy-nary-um!

[He looks pretty excited about this. As if he'd been able to remember the name all on his own, and not had it spoon-fed to him.]

Oh, it's [INSERT HOME ADDRESS HERE]. But I can just use the lantern things, can't I??

To get home? Yeah. You can do that. You just can't get to a location you haven't been to, yet, with the lanterns. You have to have been there first because of how the lanterns work.

[Something about picturing it in your head and all that.]

Daniel said somethin' like that too! So then if I go to th' hospital from the Wellness Center an' then go home, I can help Hakkai lantern over to th' hospital once I get home, right?? That sounds easy enough!

[Plus it means more running for Goku. And he's really liking running around right now!]

Oh, yeah. That could work. Especially if you're bringing your friend like that. As long as you guys are touching, you can bring him with you through the Lanterns to anywhere you've been before.

Yeah! I can just carry him an' everythin'!! That'll work, right?

[Never mind the fact the Hakkai is a good head taller than Goku is. The positioning might be awkward, but the weight certainly won't be a problem.]

Yeah, it will. [Keith nodded.] That'll work just fine.
