Hi, Z Nation! It's your favorite celebfluencer... me! Okay, I know we're all from different times and places and a lot of you don't know me yet, but that's okay. We'll get there. My name is Zari Tarazi and I'm all about clean living, beauty and staying true to yourself. I'm a model, actress, singer and practicing Muslim.

I think I need to start doing regular content here, because I have absolutely fallen off my posting schedule in the last few months and that's no way to live, so think of this as a sort of newsletter-vlog. Or whatever.

[ She sits up a little straighter and then resettles in, eyes glancing to the side quickly to make sure her ring light is still positioned correctly. ]

First of all, I am looking for instrumentalists who would be interested in helping me to make some new music. Just something fun... maybe we could do some little concerts around the city the brighten everyone's days, record a few things. No big. I would be singing, of course, but I'm open to the right collaboration.

Next up, who wants to get mani-pedis t want to meet some people who are down for gabbing and good skincare and I haven't had a facial since we saved the world or stopped with me or do face masks or anything like that? I'm dying for some feminine companionship. Now, I don't drink, but if you want a glass of wine with all that, totally cool with me. I justime from collapsing in on itself?

[ She looks away for a moment. ]

Is that what we did? Oh, whatever. Anyway, you're totally welcome for it, but my skin is a disaster. Time travel rages havoc on the pores.

Oh, and speaking of not drinking, where's a good spot for mocktails around here? Low-cal preferred, organic required. Consume healthy when you can!

Seaweed wraps are amazing. I haven't found a single spa other than the hot springs, but all they have are hot springs! I... think you can just use seaweed? From the ocean? I don't know, actually. The spas I went to in Republic City always already had the seaweed.

[ Her eyes light up at the idea of dressing up, though of course she's also already dressed like a glam-cat, so clearly she's getting an early start thanks to encouragement from the locals. ]

Oh, well, I'm sure we can figure it out. I know a bit about skincare and there's got to be somewhere I can research more. Or we experiment... on someone else. We're too pretty for breakouts.

[ She called him pretty. He's swooning, but also holding it together because she seems very cool and he wants to be very cool too ]

Ah, Miss Zari-- what's a celebfluencer?

It's a portmanteau of celebrity and influencer, who is someone who has so many friends and followers online that they are undeniably an influence on culture.

Oh, oh, so like Lil Nas X!

[ He has like two Earth touchstones: Lil Nas and Beyoncé ]

Wow, that's amazing! How do you influence the culture? Who are your followers? That's so cool!

[ Zari has to think for a moment. The name isn't unfamiliar, but it's older music from when she's from. ]

Oh! Wow blast from my past, but he's more of a typical celebrity. I built my following through hard work and self-promotion, so I wasn't on a record label or with an acting agent or anything and I made my own content. Some people look down on it, but they don't understand how much work it is to self-promote and do all your own stuff. I worked really hard to get where I am. Not that he didn't, but his content wasn't made mostly for social media. My money tends to come less from sales of my content and more from giving my content for free and getting paid to promote things. Though recently I did have a perfume launch. It... didn't go the way I expected, but it'll go smoother next time.

[ Don't mind him, he's a little disappointed. At least what he knows about Lil Nas' story, it is sort of similar to hers, but maybe he's wrong? ]

What happened with your launch? Boy, we could use something like a perfumery around here! There were never enough beautiful things in Deerington.

I think that's really admirable! Starting something all on your own-- that's so hard, and it sounds like you did a great job of it.

Ummmmm well it turned out that my perfume made everyone lose their sense of smell permanently so I stole a demonic Hell perfume from Marie Antoinette's returned-to-earth fabulous self that made everyone love me and then I sort of got mobbed.

[ She shrugs as if it was a very small mistake. ]

But I did stop the perfume from launching and then Legends saved me from the mob and the valuable lesson was learned by moi about messing around with magic Hell-things. Never again!

[ Wu stares at her, blinking.

That's. Sure something. ]

You... wow! That's sure something.

That's really awful, that they lost their smell entirely! That must have been a bad perfume-- ah. [ way to insult her, bud ] But good on you, getting it all fixed and not getting, um, all hell-magic mobbed!

Well, I couldn't let the perfume launch once I knew what it would do to people!

[ At the time, it has been more about the numbers, but she wants to think she would have done the right thing regardless. She may not be some perfect entity for Good, but she doesn't want to hurt people. At least not the people who don't deserve it! ]

Can you imagine never smelling again? Though that might be a good thing in some situations...

Maybe, maybe, but imagine not being able to smell food! Or coffee, or flowers. Wow, those poor people-- but I'm glad you could stop it from getting worse! Boy, [ He shakes his head, shuddering just thinking about it. ] but, hey, all that's in the past, right? We're here, now! Are you going to start your business up here again?

Yeah, it would super suck. I think I'm out of the perfume game, but skincare could be fun maybe... We'll see. The nice thing about doing all sorts of things is that you get the skills to really go with what you're feeling. Right now, music's calling me, you know?
