My name is Nehan-- I'm researching how medicine works here, and how to merge it with the methods I'm used to. If my research goes well, for instance, I will be able to act as a doctor and pharmacist, among other roles found here.

To that end, I'm requesting samples of blood from fellow Sleepers. I understand it can be quite personal, so whoever does not want to do that need not respond. Those who do, so I can perform the phlebotomy myself, and can privately send you my address, and answer questions you may have.

Whoever wants to help but doesn't want a needle in their arm, I still have a job for you, if anyone is interested.

If you come here, I will put you through a second examination to make sure. And prescribe you a few things to speed up recovery. Or I can simply knock you out so you can sleep for a while.

I have not punched a person in over a year. But if you try to come in before you've fully recovered, I'll see about relearning how to do so.

[that was a threat. that was definitely a big threat.]

I wouldn't do something so stubbornly reckless. You've given your verdict and I'll heed it.

[And there's a pause.] But I was not aware you and Kaeya are acquainted.

[torpour]

[A sigh.] Of course he did. [Said in that slightly exasperated tone of a man who knows another rather well.]

In any case, I've kept notes. When I've fully recovered I can hand them over. I will note something I wasn't able to say as a squid.

I couldn't use even a drop of magic while I was like that.

[torpour]

I'm not surprised. What would you have even done? Frozen yourself in that tub, or broiled yourself alive? Either way, you would have become a meal.

[searingwing]

I could have used frost to form words outside the water. [He gives him a flat look.]

Or had Dellingr write for me. But we now know neither of those can happen.

You don't have that sort of control over your ice magic, Diluc. Were you not begging me to help you with it not too long ago?

["begging" is an exaggeration and he knows it.]

I was requesting further information to study. As I said, we aren’t used to that concept. There wasn’t even legends of others doing it. Just the gods.

Dellingr would have never hurt me. Any more than I would harm you. I only blew bubbles at you because it would be rude to spit water.

Only one of my visitors earned that.

[torpour]

Surprising that you could control yourself that much. Clearly I wasn't bullying you enough.

[searingwing]

Do you want me to spit water at you? [For once, he sounds slightly confused.]
