Um, hello! I'd like some advice. I would have made this anonymous but I know even less about working these devices than I do about my smartphone from home, so I'm sorry about that! I feel like advice is better given in anonymity.

Say you're starting a new form of employment in a new place, and the air around the job is ... a little unsavory. Do you start working without telling anyone, to have a better understanding and personal take on the work itself, or try to come to an understanding of the position with your peers first? I don't think anything is specifically dangerous, it's more of a historical morality issue.

honestly, can you handle yourself in that environment? like if some dude got all creepy on you, you could protect yourself?

yeah you should tell them. that way they know where to look for you, too, if something goes wrong.

not that i think anything will, but, you know. this place is really dangerous.
