I'm running a few experiments on the properties of Sleeper Blood. I haven't been able to achieve much with my own so far.

If anyone other than a Warmblood is willing to donate a small vial, reach out to me and we can talk.

Though I wouldn't be opposed to having more of this red blood in supply.

Of course. It's the type of blood usually seen in humans - red, with a high iron content. For some reason, I have this in my fuel lines, yet it has not rusted my internal components and kept me alive.

Now, I have seen that this change in blood is not unique to myself. Perhaps each blood type has a different effect on our bodies, they they all have two things in common: one, they don't harm the person it is inside of, and two, we all wake up as deep sea creatures.

I want to find the commonality between them.

[The stranger’s appearance is startling, to say the least. But if anyone knows better than to judge based on appearances, it’s Ariadne.

Maybe it’s just some incredibly intricate armor? She’s not sure about the rust comment, though. That would suggest his insides were…metal?

If that means unchanged blood, I don’t think I can help you. Mine is the same as always.

What matter of creature are you, then?

Our blood is...kind of purple.

That doesn’t tell me much. Is it mainly used to transport oxygen? Is it a form or fuel? Does it power Alastrians with elemental energy?

[What? She blinks uncertainly.]

It's...blood. The life force. What keeps me alive.

Does that count as "elemental?"

[eugenesis]

[Flatly:] No.

That’s just the essential function of all blood.

Well, it's blood then. Purple blood. Purple blood that hasn't really changed.
