So normally on this day, around the galaxy, we celebrate "Life Day". A holiday that originated on Kashyyk, many other species also take the time to enjoy the holiday.

And while we have our own holidays from various parts of the universe and worlds, I thought it would be nice to acknowledge this one. In the spirit of the day, please share one thing about a friend, family or partner that you truly appreciate and love about them.

And perhaps we can respond in turn.

For instance, I would say I'm very grateful to have met Usagi. She's a kind, thoughtful person who always puts other people first and does her best to look after them. I'm truly glad to have met her, even in a place like this.

Now, perhaps someone else would like a turn?

Ah, she was . . . someone I loved, long ago.

I'm sure she was lovely.

. . . She was.

But if you kissed her, I likely know why she didn't like the beard, even as lovely as you wear it.

[ he shakes his head, rueful. ]

We never kissed when I had it.

Oh! I see! Well, as I never saw you without your beard, maybe she felt you were even more handsome without it.

Possibly. I think she was mostly undecided.

[ he chuckles. ]

Personally, I'm not sure how I'd feel without it these days.

It's your face, Obi-Wan. It's how YOU feel about it, not anyone else. I didn't mean to imply you should get rid of it or anything like that.

Oh, I'm aware. It's interesting to hear these opinions now and then.

Well, I mean, lots of people find you attractive, Obi-Wan, so, that's not all that surprising.

Do they? I suppose that is news to me.

Well, I've not taken a poll or anything. I mean I CAN, if you want?

[ obi-wan runs a hand through his beard before shaking his head. ]

No, it's probably for the best not to bother.

Alright, I won't poll everyone asking if they think you're handsome. Wouldn't hurt to remind you, though.
