So normally on this day, around the galaxy, we celebrate "Life Day". A holiday that originated on Kashyyk, many other species also take the time to enjoy the holiday.

And while we have our own holidays from various parts of the universe and worlds, I thought it would be nice to acknowledge this one. In the spirit of the day, please share one thing about a friend, family or partner that you truly appreciate and love about them.

And perhaps we can respond in turn.

For instance, I would say I'm very grateful to have met Usagi. She's a kind, thoughtful person who always puts other people first and does her best to look after them. I'm truly glad to have met her, even in a place like this.

Now, perhaps someone else would like a turn?

[Usagi's had a lot more biting words for him than usual, and while Maul knows he should ask what's wrong because something clearly is, right now he's in a bit of a fighting mood. He glares at her and his words come out in a sharp tone.]

Did it ever occur to you that for once I might actually know what I'm doing? I have been taking care of myself long before you ever had a place in my life.

[Much as he loves and cares about Usagi, once in a while Maul would like for her to not question every decision he makes in his life like it's the worst possible one he could be making.]

[Well, he's always moody and right now Usagi is mildly corrupted, so this is a fight waiting to happen. But she scowls.]

I've seen what you call taking care of yourself.

But whatever. [Her eyes narrow, she's not SO corrupted as to start a fight one what is supposed to be a post that is happy and nice.

And unsurprisingly, the only thing MAUL has to say about anything is to bitch and moan about how she said anything about him. She's not the least bit surprised.

He wants to be worshipped, he's getting his wish.] I don't care. Do what you want with your [cult] "tools."

[Maul’s yellow eyes mirror Usagi’s, narrowing as well.]

I managed to survive. That’s all that was needed.

[Then he snaps out a few more sentences.]

Good. I don’t recall asking for your opinion on the subject to begin with. Perhaps you should try to stop being my caretaker and try being my friend again.

[Even angry as he is, it’s still a small miracle Maul can call Usagi his friend in a public setting now after knowing her for so long.]
