[Good late morning, Trench. Have a REALLY excited Usagi (what else is new) who is finishing up wrapping something with a giant pink bow. She waves to the camera.]

HEY EVERYONE!

[She grins wide and big, fang-free for those who might be aware of what she's been going through the past few months.]

Do you know what today is?... Don't say Sunday.

NO! TODAY IS MAKOTO KINO'S BIRTHDAY!

YES! That's right! The amazingly beautiful, strong, talented, protective, best cook in all of Trench and I WILL fight you on that if you try to argue with me otherwise Makoto Kino has her birthday today!

So don't hesitate to wish her a happy birthday!

And for those of you who DO want to get her a gift... not that she expects one because she's Makoto and she's super humble like that, but if you want to get her something! Then she likes any and all cooking supplies, anything with pink roses on them, or hey pink roses themselves, or potted plants, and tigers!

I have trouble trusting them, but they aren't all bad no. My misgivings with the Moss King are my own. I don't think Doorway means any harm, for one, though... she's a severe one. I might have met her before, in the nightmare. I'm not sure that she's the one I think she is.

Still, I will try to be charitable where I can. For one? I don't... think that the Tower intended what we dealt with recently. I don't think it intends much actually. And that seemed extreme.

Yes. This is a chance for us. I want it to be as good a chance as possible.

Fern doesn't like the Moss King either. I haven't met him myself so I'm withholding any opinions.

I don't think Doorway means harm, no, or Madam Generosity or Argonaut either. And that's already three more GOOD god-like entities to count on rather than Cynthia's ONE. And Moon Presence herself is still around being awesome. [Usagi will FOREVER DEFEND THE MOON PRESENCE.]

Oh, with the... yeah... I didn't get pulled into the farm but... I know... I know it wasn't... I know they hurt so many. I'm sorry if you were, Vira-san. I wonder if there's a way to find them and stop them.

I want to see this Earth become better as well.

Fern has his reasons, and they aren't bad ones. The Moss King isn't "Bad" exactly. But he is one to be cautious around. You will make your opinions in time I think.

I still have difficulty viewing most of them as deities, but they've apparently had time to consolidate their power, which puts them well above mortals. As you said, Cynthia has ... she's definitely proven herself worthy of the trust people put in her.

I had a few scares, bruises and minor injuries. Nothing worse than I'd get in a day of monster hunting back in the old days. There were others who got it much worse, and I think that problem will have to be dealt with eventually. For now, however, they're slunk back into the darkness.

We'll succeed. We just need time.

[Pretty sure that's what she said, yeah, just Vira-Lorr took longer to say it. Usagi focuses more on the last part, then gods or not. She IS a goddess herself and if Vira-Lorr is dating Minako, she knows SHE'S a goddess too. So honestly, Vira-Lorr should be aware it's pretty easy for there to be gods all about.

No, more important to focus on Vira's comment about the farm.]

Hopefully, we'll know better if there is a next time.

[It wasn't something to worry about. Either way, Minako would always be her goddess. That much was true.]

Hmmm. I think that the more we understand this place, the more we can understand how they did what they did, why they did it, and by knowing we can stop them in the future. At the very least, they're not going to catch us by surprise like this last time.

I wonder what else is in store for us, or if they'll come back. Was it just that month?

I'm starting to believe that one difference from before is that, while some of the curses we deal with may change from time to time? We're not in a dream. this is a living, breathing world. Certain things will be static.

So... no, I don't think that's the last we'll see of them, unlike in the dream's October madness.

I don't know even if it was a dream versus a living breathing world, the pain there was just as intense. Some people have already died here, but there aren't the same consequences like there were in the town.

No, you're correct. I might be oversimplifying that a bit. Ramona's... mistakes do not apply here, and her actions had a direct impact on how the nightmare was experienced that had nothing to do with it being a dream. It seems that death, while still traumatic, does not have the same kind of impact it did in the nightmare. But a lot of that had to do with what she did to Cynthia.

And now Cynthia is free and safe, and Ramona's magic out of the picture. That's a good thing.

Don't go testing the death here by dying seven or more times, Vira-san.

Ah, yes. My reputation. [She sighed a little. Well, it wasn't like it wasn't known she'd died at least six of those times, and people could figure out she was the seventh if they'd asked around the right folks.]

I haven't yet in this world, and I've little intention of testing death here. I'm currently getting on the case of one or two acquaintances not to test it themselves. I know a few more likely to take that risk upon themselves. But yes, let's kindly do our best not to test it.

If we don't have to know, that's even better.

[Usagi was definitely able to ask around the right folks, considering her propensity for unintentional nosiness.]

Good. I don't want you to die. [But more importantly, she knew Minako wouldn't want Vira to die. She didn't want to see Vira Lorr killed or Minako hurt by that.]

But, we're getting way too far away from much more pleasant conversation! This is Mako-chan's birthday!

And in fact! I have to start getting things ready for it!
