Video; D.A.R.T. (Dreamer Assault Response Team)
[The video begins with Winter standing in front a fairly ordinary wall. Unlike most times she’s no longer wearing her Atlas uniform. Instead she’s adapted and now appears more like one of the native hunters of trench. She takes a moment to compose herself before speaking.]
It seems that many of us are starting to settle and adjust to this new place, but we all know that this peace and time of adjustment is only temporary. Before long there will be something that comes along and threatens it. The hunters of this world have already organized patrols, and have their own system of keeping threats at bay. But I believe that we all know that while they mean well, there are those that they can not expect due to our arrival.
I am Winter Schnee, I was a combat specialist for FEAR and in James Ironwood’s absence was responsible for running TRUST in Deerington. I also was a specialist in the Atlas military in a world called Remnant that quite a few of us are from. In that world there are creatures called Grim that Hunters and Huntresses protect humanity from, similar to what the hunters of this world do. I am not proposing the formation of another organization such as FEAR, especially not after the horrors that were revealed of its foundations. Rather I wish to gather a group of volunteers among those who are hunters, or who have combat experience, to come together to form special teams. These teams would respond to calls for help as a unit, fighting and supporting one another, and most importantly keeping one another in check. This would a response team specifically aimed as supporting other dreamers from any threat.
Secondly, I want to be able to offer combat lessons to any who wish to learn in a structured, secure, and safe environment. Because there will be times when we are not able to respond quickly enough, when you will need to be able to defend yourself long enough for help to arrive. Hopefully with adequate help we would be able to offer training in a variety of levels from basic combat to specialized weapon training for those that plan on becoming hunters or huntresses.
And finally, this group will serve to patrol ourselves. To mitigate and manage the threat that we pose to ourselves and to this world. The hunters talk about corruption, and I have seen what happens when too much power and responsibility lies in one place. I want to ensure that check and balance remains in place, so that we can fully support and protect all dreamers and natives of this world.
If you are willing to volunteer for this, please leave me your name, experience, and any other pertinent information.

There was something that Oscar brought up. It might be a good idea to get a census of who all is here, and thinking about supplies for the coming months.

Oscar is clever. A census and a supply depot are good initiatives.

He is, but it seems that he's not sleeping well. I've heard others mention it too.

I've been having visions. Mostly just flashes of unimportant things, but it's like in Deerington. I think something's going to happen.

(Winter had noticed on a few occasions, when she was up herself thinking. But she had figured it was due to still settling in. Now though she was worried that perhaps it had been something more. Had she been too busy with establishing a relationship with the native hunters and plotting the layout of the city to notice? With the increase anxiety there was a small swirl of ice around Winter as flurries darted by.)
We'll need to be prepared.
(She new that she should have called for volunteers sooner. Hopefully they would still have time to get something in place.)
But how are you?

I used to get insomnia bad in Deerington, and a little at home.
I'm alright, love. Truly. Are you okay?

[Though it seemed they might have a long way to go before then.]
I'm, alright. I've found out a lot from the local hunters, and have spoken to some of the blood ministers. I have several locations that can be used for non-combatants incase of emergency that would provide adequate shelter and security. Once I have an idea of the number of those willing to help I can finalize patrol routes, and we can at least begin preparing for what's coming.

But how are you faring, emotionally? I know these last few days have taken a toll.

private;
Actually, I'm not sure.
I'm relieved and glad to be with you, happy that the house is here. But I'm worried, I know that something is coming, but without know what exactly it is I don't know if we're prepared. If I'll be able to protect everyone.
I don't want to fail you, or anyone.
Private
You won't fail me. You will overcome this. We both will, whatever it is.
We did survive years in that helltown, didn't we?

But as long as we're together I believe that we can. We just have to be smart and act accordingly. [Not let their emotions and impulses get the best of them.]

[Which leads into Winter's point nicely.]
We can temper one another. And support each other too.
no subject
You're right. And I promise to do all that I can to support you.

[A pause.]
I'll...see you at home soon?

[Domestic bliss? Something like that.]
