[Usually, Usagi would just make this a text, but this was for Rei.

She took a deep breath as she looks at the camera, her eyes red and swollen, her nose red as well. She offers a wet smile before it falls away completely.

She takes another deep breath.]

For those of you who knew her, Rei Hino went- went home.

[Her breath hitches on that last part but she gets it out without a single sob or tears. Rei would be proud. She's done her crying, though, in truth, she's likely to do more later. Usagi knows she'll see Rei again, their lives intertwined, but it doesn't make her loss hurt any less.

Usagi debates for a moment if she should say anything else, pressing her lips together, and then lets out a breath.]

I know she meant a lot to many of you and those of you who Rei loved, she loved you fiercely, I can say that with certainty. [Rei never loved by halves.

Usagi is silent for a moment and then nods. She leaves it at that, at a loss on what else to say.]

I did not, but I know what it's like to lose someone you're close to.

The only person who was ever from my world vanished while we were still in the nightmare.

I'm sorry. Though I hope they're safer back home than here.

Knowing her, she's bored of out her mind to be back home. She's taken to bounty hunting; not exactly a peaceful career.

It was strange returning home and having her not remember anything, though. I knew she was from a different "time" than me, but it was still very odd.

Perhaps the two of them will appear again. It's hard to know with how this place works.

Maybe... she will... yeah. [She doesn't know that she believes it, though. She's been waiting for so many of her loved ones to come here or for her to go home. So... now Rei just joined that list. She wipes her eyes, a stray tear falling as she's trying to hold herself together and only barely managing.]

Maybe they'll come here.

[morningstud]

[Truthfully, he doesn't think it's possible either. How long has he waited for Chloe to arrive? He might not be weeping, but he doesn't look far away from it.]

It would be nice, wouldn't it?

Not... really, no. I don't want them to have to endure this place if I'm being honest. It's better for Rei-chan to have gone home? I don't know. Maybe not Rei-chan, she seemed so happy here too.
