[Usually, Usagi would just make this a text, but this was for Rei.

She took a deep breath as she looks at the camera, her eyes red and swollen, her nose red as well. She offers a wet smile before it falls away completely.

She takes another deep breath.]

For those of you who knew her, Rei Hino went- went home.

[Her breath hitches on that last part but she gets it out without a single sob or tears. Rei would be proud. She's done her crying, though, in truth, she's likely to do more later. Usagi knows she'll see Rei again, their lives intertwined, but it doesn't make her loss hurt any less.

Usagi debates for a moment if she should say anything else, pressing her lips together, and then lets out a breath.]

I know she meant a lot to many of you and those of you who Rei loved, she loved you fiercely, I can say that with certainty. [Rei never loved by halves.

Usagi is silent for a moment and then nods. She leaves it at that, at a loss on what else to say.]

I will be... really... really terrible company. [Because she's trying to hold it together for this and then has every intention of falling apart afterward. But for as much of a crybaby as Usagi is, when it comes to BIG and IMPORTANT things, she actually tends to shut herself away where no one can see.]

That's okay. No one's expecting you to be the very best of company right now. But if you need someone to come hang out for a bit, or someone to talk to, I'm here, okay?

[When Usagi is TRULY upset, she tends to retreat, shutting herself off from everyone, even her friends, because she just wants to be able to cry in peace. She wants to be selfish and weak and fall apart with no one asking anything of her or thinking less of her for her selfishness or weakness. She had shut herself up in her room for a week when Mamoru had been killed in front of her. She had tried to shut herself away when Chibiusa was supposed to return home, when Galaxia had killed the girls one by one, Usagi had been a wreck, never mind the literal denial she convinced herself of when Mamoru was killed in front of her again.

But Rei was not dead, Rei was just... home. And the Usagi who was home would get to be with her.

But she wanted Rei.

She didn't want to be alone.

She was terrified of being alone right now.]

I... I don't want to be alone.

[frogfear]

You're not alone, Usagi. You're not.

[There's a time to grieve privately and quietly on your own, while putting on a brave face for everyone else. It's just that there's also a time to share it with others so they know they're not alone.

Willow forces a small, sad smile.]

Look, how about I come over for a little while, and we can be bad company together? I think there's still some leftover brownies here I can bring.

[lightthedarkness]

[She nods, letting out a long shakey breath clearly holding back her tears.]

I'm not all that hungry right now. But I won't... won't say no to bad company. [She sniffled, offering a small, wet smile and letting out another long breath.]

Do you want to move to action, or handwave, or..?

[Willow nods. She'll bring some brownies anyway so Usagi has them for later when she does want to eat.]
