[It's the same serious looking 14-year-old from the last post, and it looks like he's about to address the network at large with something important-]

Okay, Trench, we need to talk.

[Only that is not the voice that usually comes from Dipper. The differences are now probably a little more apparent. Dipper's hair is up in a messy bun with several pens and pencils sticking out of it. She reaches up to grab one and it does not disturb her hair in the slightest. (How many are actually in there????). Dipper is definitely a girl suddenly, and does not seem to be bringing any attention to it.]

We've had some pretty big incidents over the past few weeks and they need to be addressed. I think it's safe to say that Corruption, with a capital "C", and Beasthood, similarly capitalized, have indisputable correlation.

[Dipper reaches up to scratch at something under her jaw and peels away ...a bit of flaking skin. She makes a face flicks it away. Bleh.]

And if we don't keep a closer eye on it, then we're not going to see an end to watching friends turn into monsters and having to put them down.

We need to brainstorm ideas for battling Corruption, and fast.

[Ah, there is a bashful but still somewhat guilty way she looks aside. She definitely thinks Ossi has a right to be more upset over what happened but, well, that was Ossi for you. Dipper considers herself very lucky, you see.]

I'm fine. I'm better, actually. I was able to get out of bed today.

[Which is not something she's been able to do since the incident. Small steps.]

Yeah, like the two had always seemed related in some way, but we really only had rumors to go by, or what we learned from the town itself. It's uh. I guess living through it was a remarkable source of information.

Actually, I believe the powers I have acquired in this place are uniquely suited for helping with corruption.

[Granted, he's only done it once, but with all these idiots running around getting corrupted day in and day out, he's got a lot more guinea pigs to test out on if Maul finds interest in this subject.]

Perhaps a certain number of Sleepers have similar abilities.

You might be right about that. I actually had some luck using mine to help my sister's corruption back in November. What are yours like?

[It was an unfortunate complication of partial merger with the Wizard that should never have existed on Remnant. Ossi had the benefit of a longer view on an unconscious level, but it tended to enforce a distance at the best and worst of times.]

Living it is definitely a way to learn things, [she intoned sagely. This was the way she had learned a great deal more about Remnant than most people who had lived on the planet even had the chance to.] But it's not the only way.

Hopefully we don't need to do this more in the future.

[In the meanwhile, she did offer a smile now. Business aside, she was glad that Dipper had returned from the brink.]

Flynn's been talking about finding ways other than killing for a long time, and I've heard occasional stuff from other hunters, so this stuff ain't new. [He is endlessly grateful people were able to talk Varian down from his beast state. Endlessly.] I can tell you for sure what won't work, though.

I've had a few ways I combat it, but obviously getting a blood minister helps.

Now that I think about it, we have a few Sleeper ones, don't we?

Incense seems a means of quelling the frenzy somewhat. There may be medicinal remedies to be found as blood ministration is less than ideal, given the nature of blood pollution.

Well, I don't have a clue what Faygo is, so hopefully it's not something that exists here! I'll keep an eye out for it, though.

What is it? Some kind of deadly poisonous plant? Sinister spell component?

Searching for some kind of medicinal cure is definitely not off the table. It strikes me that for something that affects everyone differently, there might be a scale of different effective remedies, you know?

But then you'd have to find a way to fight Blood Pollution.

How would you do that? You'd need something to nullify the effects of blood.
