[opening up, amara is beaming at the camera. she's clearly in an alleyway of the willful machine, if the light and bustle a little ways off from her is any indication. she has a huge bag of popcorn in one hand, the other holding the omni-- her signature tattoos glow across her arms and neck, though right now they're a bright orange instead of the usual blue.]

Yoooo! This market has orange popcorn! You have no idea how long it's been since I've had some! [a truly unfortunate and very strange looking dog briefly pops into frame as it makes a lunge for the popcorn with a long, prehensile tongue. amara doesn't seem too bothered by it, responding by lifting the bag up and chiding it;] Not for you, Skag. This is people food.

[moving on...]

I'm Amara! I am known as the Tiger of Partali, the wisest cowboy to ever walk the land and possible brain surgeon! That last one involves a lot more metaphysical punching than you would expect. Anyway! That giant snake is an equally giant pain in the ass, so I'm gonna tear its head off and give it to the Hunters in lieu of a resumé. Anyone down to join? It'll be a fun evening out!

Oh - pfff. What've I done recently? [oh hey, wait] Oh! We kept your bedroom for you! A bunch of your stuff is still in there. Not sure what, didn't look through it.

There you go. That's something you've done recently. [she huffs, squeezing his hand again before pulling her own back.] You know, sometimes just being around and shootin' the shit with me is enough, too.

Yeah, yeah, sure. [But he's smiling.] You're lucky I didn't rent it out. I've got Vyng and Tuck and their kid camped out in the living room.

[Though of course, neither of them were terribly inclined to take Amara's room either. It'd been sort of a general, unspoken understanding.]

Sorry-- their kid?! They have a child, now?!

I think they always did, he just wasn't here. Or...there, you know. He's very small, but apparently that doesn't mean he's a toddler.

I... cannot be mad about not knowing this, because I don't remember if I was told about him or not in Deerington! [she flops back in her chair hard enough the wicker creaks, huffing.] Vyng has moved in, finally? I'm glad. He is very good for you.

Uh...well, yeah, yeah. He is.

[Kinda a weird way to put it, but it's true, so?]

Yeah, it was right around when we all first got here. They were just camping on the beach.

That is entirely in line for what I remember of them. Did you invite him in?

Yeah. They're still staying in the tent, but it's at least inside now. There's rooms and stuff inside, it's actually sort of nice.
